Hi! I'm 20 years-old anime nerd from Finland (yes, a boring, usual start...)
My anime life started in 2004, when my big brother taught me to draw in manga style. Then we started watching anime such as Final Fantasy Unlimited and Shaman King. I had watched anime already before that, as such series as Pokémon, Digimon, DBZ and Hamtaro had already came out of our TVs. Of course, as this is Finland, I have been watching The Moomins ever since I can remember, and it is actually anime too, if you didn't know ;)
Manga came a little bit later, I don't remember exactly when. My first manga was Time Stranger Kyoko, when they started publishing it here in Finland.
I'd like to visit Japan someday, not just for anime and manga culture, but as it is a very interesting country in many other ways too :D We actually had already booked a trip there for last May, but then came the tsunami and the earthquake and stuff and our flight got cancelled >: so we went to Portugal.. Well, new try in a couple of years :)
My favourite animes/mangas change as I watch/read more, but currently they are Beyblade and Pokémon. Inuyasha and Shaman King are one of my all-time favourites, which I have liked ever since I started watching them, and it was somewhere at the beginning of my nerdy life :'D I have probably wathced/read more than I have listed here, but well, I cant' remember everything I have watched/read during last 7 and half years xD
Other than watching anime and reading manga I cosplay, draw, read, listen to music, go to school (Helsinki City College Culinary Arts, to be a chef) and see my friends. I also play some video games, but not that much. Mostly I just like playing Pokémon l'D Most of my last summer went while practising for Ginga Nagareboshi Gin!musical. It was awesome experience! I'm not that much into acting, but I liked it : ) I played Kisaragi, the leader of Mutsu's Generals. In Finlad there is quite a big fandom for GNG, so our show was pretty popular (500 person concert hall, completely full, and not everyone even got in XD).
