Just another person who's interested in anime, and is starting to get to grips with the medium.

I tend not to watch anime I don't think I'll like, and I try to use the full five-point scale, so my ratings are more skewed than some. Here's how I judge things:

5*: Masterpiece
4*: Excellent
3*: Good
2*: Average
1*: Meh

My favourite anime so far: Kino's Journey, FMA: Brotherhood, Toradora!, Welcome to the NHK!

Anime watched within the last month: Kokoro Connect, Natsume Yuujinchou, Michi Random.

Absolute favourites: Kino, Misaki Nakahara, Ohana Matsumae

You want to do me? Something ever so naughty that only gets better the more you try. Welcome to ISSUP ;P

After a weekend with friends when we played some Rock Band (bad idea whilst drunk), I remembered my true love for Muse. I think I need to burn a few older cd's for the car, as I only seem to listen to radio 1 at the moment.... Maybe some Hot Chip (a new discovery that takes me back to the 80's), or some bad dance music. Especially good when cruising when the roof down :D

Ecchi has a huge gender divide, it is most definitely loved by mainly guys. However, I'm not adverse to looking at naked laydeez, so I quite enjoy it too :p Saying that, I don't like totally OTT boobs (Eiken being an exception), I don't like women being mindless slaves, but somehow, Macademi Wasshoi! is tickling my fancy. Go figure. It is complete trash, but makes me laugh ._.

The AP meet is definitely gathering speed. Sadly, I can only make the Friday night now as I have a birthday to go to on the saturday. But I'm sure you could make one night to come play with us all! Plus, the Friday can be booked at the Travelodge with a super-saver discount, so its only £39! You know you want to.... even if the conversation will be mostly anime, games and perversion! Everyone is booking their own room, so no need to worry about numbers ;P

My manchester meet was with old friends, so plenty of beer and good old Manc action ^^

Anyways, glad to hear you're doing well, but don't leave it so long next time! PM me on the forums if you ever want to trade msn IDs :p

Aww, but I'm not scary.... and you never know, you might like it ;P

I have some extremely ecclectic tastes in music though, as the server will attest to. Mainly rock, but Last.fm has thrown up some interesting music in the past. In fact, its how I first found Biffy Clyro... But do watch Hikaru no Go! It is very inoffensive, and I haven't yet found someone that dislikes it. But as well as that, I have almost finished Hajime no Ippo and it has been an absolute blast. I thought I would hate it because of the boxing subject matter, but it is absorbing and the characters utterly brilliant!

Yes, I am the ecchi site reviewer, which is kind of bizarre especially as I'm female! I guess its the ISSUP influence there :P And good luck with Wangan - I really do believe that Initial D is superior in every way possible...

The meet is definitely building speed - a lot more people interested than I first thought. You should come out and play with us, if not just to meet the people behind those internet persona. Going to be a real variety of ages too (from 15 to thirty-something), so will be plenty of conversation and anime talk to go around. You will be more than welcome, and it would be great to meet finally :D

Anyways, I'm off for a long weekend up to Manchester, so hope to catch up soon!

Oh Silverswift, how I missed your messages, you have no idea.....

I always get the feeling that by narrowing down a watching list to certain genres that have piqued your interest, there is a chance you could be missing out on so much. By broadening my own horizons, I have learned that I love detective drama, shoujo and shows about board games.... go figure. Its always nice to be pleasantly surprised though, and Gundam Seed certainly interested this mech hater :p

I somehow also have a new ecchi title to watch and add a synop and screenshots for. And then the characters. And write a review. For some reason, the bad ecchi reviews seem to be a site favourite, and people actually end up watching crap like Strange Love because they don't believe that it really *is* that bad!

But hurry up and join the big wide world on the scary roads, it really is good (expensive) fun! And it does mean you can meet fellow APers... even if they are a little strange. It is always surreal meeting people you chat to through text, and realising that they are actually real people. Soon wears off though :p

But thank you for the mini-essay, gives me something to read after an awful day at work >.< Hope you are doing well too ^^

How I missed your message, I have no idea. Probably been drinking too much (again).

I'm glad you liked HxH, it really is quite a fun show. One of my favourite shounen, second only to Gintama. In the same kind of silly vein, Yakitate Japan is also brilliant fun. It sounds amazingly dull, but I don't know anyone that has disliked it!

As to my perverted nature, I am very picky about my ecchi. If perversion is done well, or the comedy aspect not simply a case of "oh look, another compromising situation involving boobs", then I will love it. I find, unfortunately, that many of the more popular perverted shows on here are ones that people watched first and remember fondly. Sadly, Hinako doesn't all into either of those camps, and needs to be cleansed with fire :p

You really should get a car, gives an amazing sense of freedom. And as to the S4... its powerful, you can get a convertible and its AWD. I learned that switching off the traction control in a rear wheeled drive car in the rain is a BAD idea. Unless you like going sideways around roundabouts... You can come for a drive in it, if you decide to come to an AP meet that is! The mini meet was fine, nice going out for dinner and being able to talk anime with a (relatively) normal person :p
