Been watching anime since the late 90's. I'm not the obsessive otaku type, just a long-time fan. I'm not really involved in any other aspects of anime-fandom beyond actually watching it: I don't hang out on anime forums, and I'm not into fanart, fanfic, cosplay, figures/merchandise, or anything else like that.
I generally watch things online first these day, then buy the DVD/Blu-ray of anything I think is good enough to be worth watching again some time down the road. My DVD/Blu-ray collection is sitting at somewhere slightly over 100 complete series, and around 50 movies.
I started out watching anime on Cartoon Network and the SciFi channel, then moved on to renting anime DVD's from Netflix, and these days most of what I watch is on Crunchyroll.
Aside from the obvious anime and manga, my other hobbies/interests include video games, computer programming, books, firearms, and when the mood strikes, writing.
