Well I don't think that there is anything wrong with taking care of your obligations as well. Especially since you said that by doing something you feel accomplished and get some excitment out of it. I honestly feel that is all that you should worry about because as long as you are doing something that you enjoy doing then no matter what you will be happy.
I feel that I can relate to what I just said as well becuase at my internship the work I am doing might not be the most fun and exciting work but I get to learn. Which in my opinion is much better than anything that I will learn during schooling because I am getting the hands on experience in the real world that is lacking in the classroom.
So, I think that you should continue to do your obligations and enjoy them. But when you can fit in some hobbies go ahead and do that so you can enjoy some others things in life as well.

So, the manga is as entertaining as the show? I am now curious to read it for myself, as I wonder if the manga could possibly capture the wry sense of humor pervading the anime... I just have so much fun watching it, I fear the manga couldn't possibly do these characters justice as bringing them to life via color and animation has been able to do.

Oh, the manga is much better imo. A lot of the jokes weren't even in the anime. But each has their own pros and cons, but I think it's totally worth reading.

Currently? Well as the summer seasons are winding down, I've got Overlord, Prison School, Arslan Senki, Shokugeki no Souma, Working!!!, Gangsta and Oremonogatari to finish up; they all appear to be in their last few episodes. My longer running ones are Gintama and Naruto. How about yourself?
Things have been busy unlike anything they have ever been before. However, I have managed to get a review done of Gate: Jieitai kanochi nite, kaku tatakaeri and thought you might like to take a look. Enjoy and feel free to give me some feedback!
