Hello, I am Shirono, Painter and Animator from Maine, United States. You may have seen me as a guest artist at Portcon Maine in the past. My work is heavily influenced by comics and anime.
I grew up on Shoujo anime, the three that effected me the most were Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Card Captor Sakura. Older now, I love manga and anime that examine complex ideas about gender, sexuality, and sociology. Completely unrelated, I've also come to love slash and BL.
My favorite anime or manga of all time is and will always be Hikaru no Go.

Haha. I remember you. Yeah, I'm still trying to get hold of Utena. You know of anywhere in particular that does the DVDs at a reasonable price? Sound slike something I really should own.

Thank you. And I'm liking the fact you're a CCS fan as well! I've been trying to get hold of Utena, but never been able to. I'm told that fans of Rose of Versailles (like me) will like it, and juding by your superb taste in anime, I better hurry up in getting hold of it.
