[To everyone I used to chat with, I'd just like to say that anime is still a big part of my life but I just don't spend a lot of time in this website anymore. I just use it as a tracker.]
Whoa, didn't think people get excited about WRITING. :D
I've been in a paying job for a good half a year now, and I gotta say that the motivation for doing it is on a totally different level compared to school, as you actually get paid. I never had the proper motivation for studying, only to get through it so I could apply to a school where they teach stuff that I actually care about.
I've never really done anything special other than playing games. But that changed 4 years ago when I found my love interest, that is, programming. :D After that, I've been coding stuff and enjoying it. During the years I got through different coding languages and made lots of stuff with them. Recently though, I moved on to learn C++, which is the fastest (and the best) programming language, but also one of the hardest to master.
It's been a fun hobby to have, especially when I've self-educated myself in everything that I've done. I remember the first time when a guy wanted me to code something for him and he actually paid me for it, I spent like 8 hours on it that day. :D
I know this makes me sound like a huge geek, but that's what I am. :P I think that's what seperates me from all the nerds of the internet. :3
So what made you start writing and made you notice that it can be exciting?
I didn't get as many presents than I had gotten on previous christmas's (mostly because of the laptop) so I didn't get any fancy stuff, just clothes and stuff.
I finally got my sleep cycle fixed! :D On friday I went to bed at 9pm, and woke up at 2am. :P (Why so early? I had work on the weekend) And yesterday I went to bed at 10pm. :D Previously I had went to bed at like 2-4 am or so, so. It's an improvement.
I just finished watching Saki, and I gotta say it was awesome. I got interested in Mahjong a bit, so I'm probably gonna watch another mahjong anime soon. It's like watching poker, without knowing who's winning. XD I sometimes like watching poker, it's so tense.
Half a year ago, some guy introduced me to Go. Since I like playing chess, so I found Go to be a bit more interesting. The guy taught me how to play, but I couldn't beat him. Played against him like 4-5 times. Since there are animes about Go, I might aswell watch those too. :D (Like Hikaru no Go, that seemed interesting.)
How's your writing coming along? Are you gonna end up publishing books even, or just gonna stay with blogs and such? :3
nono worries can't complain, i got a friendly welcome :D
i haven't watched past the 11th's first season yet! is the next one as good as his first? in my house it's something like a religion, my dad's been a giant fan since he was a kid, our internet's called tardis, and he's also building a life size dalek in the garage haha
