I'll let you know how I feel about the series, Haibane Renmei, after I watch it all. Needless to say, I am watching it and I plan on watching all of it--so it has made a positive influence so far. Until then, I've got some episodes to watch!
As for cats, I'm afraid I have two already--mine adores the freshly dried laundry best. Possibly because it's the only clothing that does not have their fur all over it yet! :D
I've been considering it, but I am not completely sure I am able to place enough confidencein my own writing abilities to actually complete anything :p.
I'm very glad that you enjoyed Guardian of the Sacred Spirit, and enjoyed reading your review of it--well written and well done. I hope it brings new fans to a loved series!
Oooh, thanks again! High praise indeed! As for your comment, I suppose I'm writing to those who are part-time action junkies like myself. I adore films that can get by on mostly stunning stunts as long as the stunts are SO good that it allows me to overlook the average as muck plot. Like I said, I'm a part-time action junkie (depending on my mood, the type of show etc) and I assumed most people out there were too. So I think even someone who would call themselves an action junkie could appreciate the rest of what Seirei has to offer despite being drawn in initially by the action in the first few episodes. Lol. Or that's what I'm hoping.
I'm not a professor, nor a Lit major... I'm just a fan of anime, like you.
By the way, I never made a recommendation for Lain <-> Captain Tsubasa. I did recommend Lain <-> Captain Herlock. You should watch it, if you get the chance. Don't let my Lain comparison scare you. It's a space opera - like the Crest of the Stars series.
