I somehow managed to stumble my way onto this site after it being recommended by a friend from another forum I used to frequent. And now here I am...don't really know what to say beyond that. I'm a 23 year old Communications and History major recently graduated from Wake Forest University, and in between work, working out when I have the time and playing League of Legends, I somehow manage to find time to watch anime when the spirit moves me. If you have any recommendations for anime with good romance stories, tsundere, and hell, maybe a robot fight or interglactic war, im all ears. Hit a brotha up!

Hello! Thanks for the comment on my blog.
I'm not watching the new Ika Musume series. I didn't watch the first season when it aired (can't remember why), but I did give it a thought to marathon the first season before the second one started. I dug up a little information about it and watched a few small clips, but it really didn't seem to look like something I'd particularly care for. So in the end, I just decided to let it pass by. Do you like it?
Talk about late responses....though hey, it's only a quarter of a year. =PThanks for the kind words! It's always nice to find someone with similar taste.
As far as recent series, I don't have much to offer. Older material, however, you've probably seen a majority of what I'd recommend off the top of my head. From what I can see missing, both Haibane Renmei and Mushishi are absolute musts (I consider them as a sort of "triad of greatness" in conjunction with Kino no Tabi). Both Itazura na Kiss and Kimikiss are pretty good in the romance department, and Myself;Yourself is a decent drama from times past. Sola may also prove entertaining if you're looking for a good-but-not-great drama/semi-action flick.
I think that'll do for now. Just make sure you watch Haibane Renmei and Mushishi last in that list if you plan to see them all - they'll suck the air right out of the others otherwise.
Your avatar, the one with the fixed gun in the foreground and what appears to be a mech in the background, what series is it from?
Hehe,
Well i've seen so much anime i'm used to al different drawing types (except the one of One Piece :P). As for Code geass, for me the plot twists really did it, I still remember the episode where lelouch became emperor :D!! I totally freaked out and called a friend out of enthusiasm to talk about it xD
Konnichiwa!
I'm a little picky when it comes to comedy, and I'm not too fond of slice of life either, so I suppose it's just not my cup of tea. At least you like it, though. I noticed you're also watching Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, how do you like that? I'm surprisingly really into it myself.
