Pokemon: The Origin

Jan 31, 2015

A long-winded review for this show is unnecessary.  Simply put the purpose of this anime is to give a nostalgic trip down memory lane to people who fondly remember playing the video games pokemon red, pokemon blue, or pokemon yellow. For that nostalgic feeling Origins is a fantastic show 9/10. As a standalone show for people that have no previous pokemon game experience it's probably average or below average quality (equal to or less than 5/10). In this case I would say it's not worth watching so continue looking for other anime that will be more enjoyable for you. Moving on Story - pfft You know... See full review

Me! Me! Me!

Dec 13, 2014

Me!Me!Me! is a very graphic and brutual depiction of what I think is an otaku's relationship with his waifu going sour. One idea was that this music video is about escapism after a relationship breakup. A very informative comment I read stated that these ideal waifu fantasy relationships can start benign, but eventually become unhealthy as a person becomes more engrossed in such a relationship. Shakugan no Shana III

May 30, 2014

Intro I felt compelled to watch this anime since I watched the previous two seasons. The reason I felt compelled to watch it is because I  needed closure on the magnetic love between Yuji and Shana. Story I thought the previous two seasons were great. The setting where Yuji struggles against his fate as a torch was simply gutwrenching and I could feel the terror of his existence vanishing. The story continually degraded in the third series until every episode seemed randomly inserted, improvised, and impossible to follow. Animation Sound It looked okay and sounded good. I can't give it a... See full review

Pupa

Feb 1, 2014

When reading the description of Pupa you might become interested at the unique situation it presents, but it's a trap. Its hook, "a sister turned monster", might be enough to reel the average person in, but the short 4 minute episodes of nearly pointless and unfortunate gore reveal there is no lasting value. Story For those of you who have read the Manga you know that the plot does not ever thicken. Let's examine the first episode in a simple sequential style and then list the entire plot in three points. Red butterflies--> Tentacle-Dog--> Yume becomes a flesh eating monster. ...
