I'm 15 and from Singapore, the sunny island [: Well it's pretty obvious that I'm a BIG anime fanatic. I take Japanese as a third language. It's really interesting. I now study in an all girl's school. I find it pretty much the same to a mixed school though. :O I'm a really nice person. TeeHee.
Right. Let's move on to ANIME, shall we?
I started anime when I was about 7. I happened to walk in on my cousin watching the Lee vs Gaara fight in Naruto. Yeap! Naruto was my first anime. And that led to Bleach. So on.
I love all kinds on genres. From Sci-Fi to Romance. Yes. Everything.
I started to have a liking for sports animes. They just make you want to do the stuff the shows about. Some of the nicest sports animes would be: OverDrive, Major and Whistle. You may not have heard of them. I personally feel that they are underrated. OverDrive is all about road-racing. Though the main character, Shinozaki may remind you of Tsuna from Reborn in the first few episodes, this anime is highly exciting. It focuses on the first race that the bicycle team in the school enters, and the various challenges they face in the race. The musics are very nice and suitable as well. Major is a baseball anime. It follows the life of Goro Honda, starting from the death of his father till he becomes a pro pitcher in America. The character development is great!
Of course, a nice anime cannot go without comedy. I'm a great fan of parody. Gintama is a great show which involves alot of burst out laughter while watching. Do try!
I do read manga, especially if a nice anime ends halfway, like Gakuen Alice or Skip Beat. Otherwise, I will watch the anime first. However, there are some mangas that were not made into animes. I will only read them if there are good reviews.
I don't write fanfiction, though I ocassionally read them. One of the best fanfics would be FURARETAxx. It's a pity that the author had to put it on hiatus forever.
I am a great fan of AMVS, especially Pandora Hearts and Shugo Chara.
I don't do cosplay though I may decide to in the future.
Well, that about concludes this.
