Awesome sig I saw it in the forums and like how you used two images for one complete image, looks real sweet.

I mainly preferred the movie because the "remastered" characters seemed more interesting. In the series they're always doubtful and unsure of themselves, whereas the movie characters really knew what they were doing and kept things moving.

Also, the setting is more medieval in the movie instead of semi-futuristic like in the series. I liked that too.

Anyway, both were excellent anime.

Saw your sig in the forums, just wondered something. You really prefered the movie over the series? I mean, the movie had excellent animation but in terms of plot it was lacking compared to the series. Or did you not think so? Lol. Obviously. Just wondering what your opinion is.

I love Escaflowne its funny to me that a lot of ppl love the series but didnt really like the movie and I see that you gave the movie a better rating then the series and I will have to agree the move was awesome I loved the animation and it was a bit more serious then the series so....go you :) - the marvelous captain lolo
