I'm a busy student living in Seattle Washington. Anime and Video Games are both things I enjoy in varying quatities, but I also enjoy surfing, spelunking, hiking and anything else I can afford. My anime interests are usually exhausted in large quantities over short, segregated periods of time; however, even if I'm not presently watching anime I don't mind taking time to rate, discuss, or recommend series or movies. My love for anime started with the shounen and mecha genres but I've lately enjoyed romance, drama, comedy, and science fiction affiliated series. Even though my interests have broadened and my critiques harshened I still appreciate anything with a decent narrative and likeable characters. I especially appreciate anime with exceptional aspects that break my genre barriers and allow me to ignore those 'Ecchi", 'Magic Girl', and other tags that often raise a flag-of-avoidance. I'm always open to give and recieve recommendations so feel free to ask me any questions or leave any comments. Additionally, my favorite colors are red and light blue, and I like most edible food besides fish.

Personal Rating Scale:

0-2.5: Drop-worthy anime with too many nagging flaws to make up for whatever positive elements are present.

3.0: Mediocre anime with more positive than negative elements.

3.5-4.0: Anime that's an overall pleasure to watch.

4.5: My personal favorite series or movies that deserve top-ten positions.

5.0: It's hard for me to give anything a perfect score.

I've been good, my15th birthday was just on thursday and my parents took me to a Japanese market and I got a buncha cool stuff, uncluding lots of pocky and the stuff to make home made sushi! And my boyfriend gave me a necklace, its like a lil water droplet shape w/ a heart inside and outside the water droplet it says "Love Forever", its really pretty.

Yeah actually I recently started watching Angel Beats! and Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan, they're both reallly good so far. First time in a while I've actually watched an anime while its airing. And actually no I havn't seen the new series XD I'm still finishing up the first series, and I'm waiting for the 2nd series to be dubbed cuz I hate the sub voices; Inuyasha sounds too whiney w/ the sub version.

No, my school doesn't offer job-shadowing until senior year...junior if you're lucky. So yeah I've got another 2-3 years b4 I can do that...hopefully in those 2 or 3 years I'll get some inspiration and finally know...not absolutely but have a solid idea of what I wanna do instead of just like "Hmm that sounds good but..." etc.

Thanks for the welcome!  Thanks for the comment on my avatar, it is something I made.  I'm just getting interested in anime/manga in a sincere way.  Its something I have always sort of liked but have never pursued very hard due to the expense.  Fansubs are a wonderful thing!  I look forward to reading your recommendations.  Be well!

Ooooh I see. Hmm yeah my dad's said the same thing about having a different profession while wriiting. Like Kathryn Fox, she's a general practitioner who writes crime/forensics mystery thrillers, my second favorite author actually. But its the fact that...I dunno what else to choose! XD I love reviewing anime, books and videogames, but there's not much money in that either...idk, maybe I'll take my parents advice that they've been saying since I was little, that I should b a lawyer cuz I can word and think my way outta most problems and I love thinking through complicated situations

Well some homerooms in my school have this "Personalized Student Learning Plan" thing and mine is one of them, basically it "helps" (not really) u create a highschool plan and what courses you wanna take based on what you want to do after highschool and a bunch of other stuff that no Freshmen are really even sure of yet, so I'm kinda forced to think about it. My problem is too many things intrest me and I'm good at pretty-much everything I'm intrested in so yeah. Its actually possible to have too many credits? O.o Most of the time I hear of people having trouble getting enough credits, how do u have too many? Hm, yeah for a while I wanted to do creative writing for a living cuz I figure if its my job then I can overcome my lack of motivation...dispite a grossly large number of ideas; but my dad brought up a good point that you have to either be really good or get really lucky in order to be able to make a living on just writing.

Hey, thanks for ur comment on my Disgaea review, its nice to know there's someone who not only reads it but has an oppinion on it. You seem like a really cool person, I'm into writing as well (as you may have figured out so yeah) though I still dont know what I want to major in for College cuz I like computers, writing and Science (especially forensics) so yeah. Is majoring in Creative writing worth it? (say like in 3-4yrs)
