Hi there! It's unlikely that anyone reading this will particularly care about what I have to say, but such is life and the internet in particular!

I'm a British teenager who's very into anime and manga, I just find it fascinating and different to western styled shows. I'm open to all suggestions and ideas for shows to watch, and will happily give them out! (quite possibly why you're here).

As for my ratings and things that I've decided are my 'favourites', these are all based around how much i enjoyed the series, not necessarily how good it is. There are works of fiction out there that bore me or that I can not stand, and yet I must admit that they are works of genius. If perchance you are interested in my opinion (really doubt you are) about a series or whatever then please ask! :)

I may do some reviews in the future if I have enough time, which could be fun...

Wow, 2 months of Anime, yet you haven't seen 'Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni'. You really should!

And we all watch HXH for Killua and Gon. I personally hate Kurapica, and Leorio's just meh. I liked Wing and Netero, and Zushi wasn't too bad. In all though, it's the relationship Killua and Gon share that makes me adore it so much.

So in total, it isn't the story of FMA I hate, it's the characters.

I greatly dislike FMA. There isn't a huge reason, it just really didn't pique my fancy. I suppose it's because I didn't like the setting of the story, seeing as it's tedious and rather under-developed, and the characters were pitiful. This is coming from an author here, so desite how it may sound, i know what I'm talking about. I will however say, that Brotherhood is far better than the original, be it for the animation alone. Other than that I found it took itself very seriously, and it was far too depressing for its own good.

After a look at your list, I shall recommend to you Rurouni Kenshin. It's one of my all time favorites, and again, a must-see for any fan of the shounen genre. I was going to sa Yu Yu Hakusho (you've probably heard of that one) or maybe Slayers. I love old anime in case you didn't realize. I noticed that you didn't adore Hunter X Hunter though, and seeing as YYH is written by the same mangaka and I personally prefer HXH, I think Rurouni Kenshin will suit you fine. I can imagine you've heard of it before, but i assure you, it is an excellent series. I suggest not watching the end of the anime though, as in only the first fifty or so episodes and then the OVAs, and then read the end of the manga. The geniuses decided to change the ending, which angered me, especially because their ending was absolute drivel. Anyways, good luck with Rurouni Kenshin, it really is one of my favorites.
