Scrapped Princess

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Utawarerumono

Scrapped Princess is like Utawarerumono because of the way the plot turns out. Each Series starts out with a medievil tone and setting, but as the story progresses, you'll find out secrets about the world each series takes place in. These two both take that approach in telling the story, so if you liked the way that one of these shows worked, you'll like the other. These shows also have some other basic similarities, like swordfighting and magic. In each show, the main character also has 'protectors' that follow them everywhere, although, in Utawarerumono the main character is very apt to fighting, unlike Scrapped Princess where the main character is almost defenseless.

El Hazard and Juuni Kokuki(The Twelve Kingdoms) are both about people who get trapped in an alternate universe. Each story deals with the main characters trying to find a way to live in these alternate worlds, and the hardships they go through. If you like one, you'll like the other.

Fushigi Yuugi and Juuni Kokuki(The Twelve Kingdoms) are very similar. They are both about a girl who gets trapped in another universe. Each girl must try to gain an understanding of the new universe that they are in, and a way out. Juuni Kokuki gets into a more political espect(not a bad thing, there are many battles to be fought trying to rule an medievil country) compared to Fushigi Yuugi, which is mostly drama. There is also more fighting in Juuni Kokuki. If you are one who likes stories of alternate universes, these are both a "must watch".

Rurouni Kenshin and Utawarerumono are related through their amazing battle scenes. If you are one who loves action oriented anime, both of these titles is a good choice to watch. They are also both centered in a medievil Japanese era; although Utawarerumono has a fantasy aspect to it. If you like one, you'll almost definately like the other.

Fate/stay night

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Utawarerumono

Fate/Stay Knight and Utawarerumono(The One Being Sung) are alike in the way that the story is told. They are both very action oriented with a seemingly simple plot, but what lies underneath these seemingly simple stories is a very in-depth story that will leave you guessing at every turn. The art style, and battles are portrayed in a similar manner in each. If you like one, you'll definately like the other.

Tenshi na Konamaiki and Ouran High School Host Club are alike because of the general topic that the animes are about. Tenshi na Konamaiki is about a guy who gets turned into a girl, while Ouran High School Host Club is about a girl who has to pose as a guy.

Interlude is like Beyond The Clouds, The Promised Place(aka The Promised Place of Our Younger Days) because they both deal with how people percieve reality. There is also a girl character in each of these stories that is in almost the exact situation as the other, I can't really say more without ruining the story.

Maburaho

YOU MIGHT LIKE

Shuffle!

Maburaho and Shuffle! are both romance comedies dealing with a magical element. Both Kazuki and Rin are your relatetively average guys who just happen to have loads of girls with magical powers drop in on them. Maburaho focuses a little more on comedy than Shuffle!, but some parts of the shows almost mirror each other drama-wise.
