Kyubey apparently is god himself...I guess. Don't ask, that didn't make any sense to me either xD

And Homura's wings and that whole ending sequence made no sense to me. The last episode was just not...as coherent as it could have been xD

Despite it's flaws, I love Madoka Magica. It's just a lot of fun to watch ^^

I've seen Madoka twice now, and that review concerned my first time watching it and was one of my first reviews so I probably neglected to mention some of the things you brought up.

Between Homura, Kyoko, and Mami I couldn't choose who I liked better xD And I agree one hundred percent that Madoka was a very dull, uninteresting character and Homura was the main character. When you can watch the anime with that in mind, it is a lot better.

Madoka became god and basically erased all existence of witches. Her friends appeared to be in some sort of afterlife, though I didn't understand that since I thought Kyoko had destroyed her soul to kill Sayaka's witch. So Madoka became God, everyone who died lived in some happy afterlife, and after that I can't say. There's a movie coming out that is a sequel to the series and might clear up all those questions, though.

Well, a lot of the time those kind of anime run into each other and can get really dry if you just watch one after the other. So I like to sample a bit of everything and change up the genre every time.

Tokyo Gore Police is really, really, really gory. I had never seen a movie as gory and bloody as it when I first watched it, but it's so funny because you can tell it's fake. It doesn't use a lot of CGI to make it look real. But it's still disturbing xD

I enjoy romance's and dramas and that sort of things, but I occasionaly need something ridiculous and violent to balance things out.

Yeah, you don't have to ask. We seem to have some of the same tastes so I already added you as a friend :P

And if you want really disgusting and brutal, watch some of the Japanese horror movies like Tokyo Gore Police or Mutant Girls Squad. They are ridiculous and campy, but there is so much great blood and gore.
