Steins;Gate

on

Before i officially begin this review I would like to expound on one of my favorite words, that i discovered on my Ipod several months ago. The word is weltschmerz. I cannot think of a better word to describe the empowering feeling that this show leaves you with. Weltschmerz (pronounced like veltshmerts) is a german word, that is made by the joining of two words, welt - meaning “world”, and schmerz - meaning “pain”. Weltschmertz is a type of emotion that is almost viewed as a natural depression, or a natural sadness, that enters one’s self when comparing ones current life... See full review

Air

"sad" as in, wow, the poor fellow was trying so hard, but failed....pretty bad. But when this skate boarder hurts himself. you'r not laughing, you just payed money to see this kid do something awesome. and he just wasted your money. Highschool of the Dead

on

At first i was hesitant about watching this anime. Because I usually hate zombie flicks. I skimmed over the title for weeks. Eventually the ratings and recommendations got to me, so i sat down and watched it. 24 hours later, i had finished the whole show, and just sat back, eyes wide, trying to digest everything i had just seen.  Highschool of the Dead follows Takashi Komuro, a student who witnesses a zombie infestation knocking at the front gates of his highschool. As you watch the show, you witness the world as we know it, completely change from one we all know... Xam'd: Lost Memories

on

I came across this show one day when i was bored. I must say, sometimes boredom is a blessing, because out of the number of new Anime that i have stumbled across, this is one of the better. Xam'd; Lost Memories begins with a high school boy name Akiyuki, who finds himself in the cross-fires of a world war. As a consequence, he finds himself infected with a Xam'd - some kind of creature thingy that can make him into a bad-A. But only when he can control it. Without his body and mind finding a way to harmonize with the Xam'd, Akiyuki is doomed. While in turmoil, Akiyuki is picked up by a red headed, pilot... See full review
