OK, so this is going to be my first blog. There might be more to come, there might not. Essentially, this is going to be an outlet for me to express myself on an open forum where anyone who happens across it can comment, should they choose to do so.
Disclaimer: I can be opinionated and long winded. Gomen nasai.
That being said, I find myself awake at an obscenely early hour for me (0919 hrs EST). Rather, it's more like I never went to sleep. You see, my sleep schedule is all out of whack for some strange reason. I sleep all day and I'm up all night. However, I fell more comfortable like this. I digest, however.
As I sit awake, I look at my collection of anime on my HDD. It's not the most impressive collection out there. As a matter of fact, it totals about 1.56 TB. All of these series are ones that I have no problem watching again...and again...and still again. I must have seen CLANNAD about 36 times, Shuffle! about 44, Kaichou wa Maid-sama about 21 and Toradora! more times than I care to count.
This brings me to a situation that I am trying to get around. I wouldn't say I'm picky about my anime but I appear to be stuck on one particular genre. Kind of. I like the harem/school life/sudden girlfriend appearance animes. Throw a little tsundere in there and you have my ideal anime. Still, I branch off into other series where I can. Again, that being said, I'm having trouble finding anime that I can watch and actually enjoy. I'm proud of the fact that I don't drop anime. I will always finish what I start.
Still, it bothers me that I am running out of series that actually appeal to me. Anime-Planet is the site that helps me out the most due to its recommendation feature. It's the one feature that sets it apart from all the other 2-bit sites out there. Well, OK, there's more to it than that but I'm being lazy.
What should I do with myself, I wonder? If anyone happens to come across this, maybe you can help me out and recommend something for me? Take a look at my list to see if I've seen it already. I have seen a LOT of anime, after all.
