Not much to say.
A 27 year old guy from north Sweden who hasn't grown up yet and probably never will.
Started watching anime long before I actually knew what anime was, which was until junior high when a friend explained the term.
To me, it's all just "cartoons" anyway. Or, to be more precise, it's "drawn movies" (a literal translation of the swedish word for "cartoon"). Animations are animations, no matter where they come from.
Anyway. That's when I first heard about the term anime, and realized that I had been watching some before that. So I've got two "first anime". My actual first anime was probably Cyborg 009, of which I have a very old tape with the "first" two episodes (the swedish dubbed version actually starts somewhere halfway through the series), that my parents got through some sort of video club. With a hilariously horrible swedish dub, too.
On the other hand, my first anime that I saw, and knew it was actually anime, was Akira or Cobra. Not sure which one we watched first, that evening.
After that, my anime snowball has just kept rolling and kept getting bigger.
Some anime I watch because I really find them interesting and entertaining (I just love to find anime with extremely whacked sense of humor like Excel Saga. I also like anime with parodies/references and in-jokes between characters like Seitokai no Ichizon), some I watch because someone recommended them, some I watch because I'm bored and don't really have much else to do.
...And then there's the ones that shouldn't be mentioned, and I watch just to be able to say "I even watched that". You can't find them on the lists here, and that's probably a good thing.
Or sometimes I watch that kind of anime just because I'm bored. ;)
Oh, and I tend to talk too much and get off topic all the time.
