Very repetitive, but it doesn’t feel that way. There is always some competition or bad guy to train for. The show isn't really about the plot line as much as it is about entertainment value, which there is loads of.
Not brilliant, but then it is old. It also should be noted that it does get better as the show progresses. It does hold up quite well considering it is form the mid 80s.
The music is a great fit for the show and good in its own right. The voices fit the characters well
There is very little development; they are all likeable enough though. The little development there is forms the basis of characters in the sequels. It is quite interesting to see where realtionships came from.
Good fun. The daddy of all fighting anime and still not that far from the top. If you are into fighting anime definitely watch it
