Chitose Get You!!

on

Story:
Chitose get you is a very simple slice of life show focusing on the adventures of Chitose Sakuraba and her two best friends Hinako Hiiragi, and Misaki (no family name given). Each episode is self-contained though there are several two to three episode story arcs, so I hesitate to call the show episodic. I can’t say much more without getting into spoiler territory but if you’re interested to know what kind of story to expect think Hanamaru Kindergarten with older children. Audio/Visual: The visuals are simple from the character designs to the background but not in a... See full review

Saint October

on

This will not be my usual style of review because this show exhausted me. After what I have seen of this mess I don’t want to think about it anymore, so this will be very short. This anime is the immature version of sailor moon there is no real detective work to speak of so don’t expect mystery. The characters seemed interesting enough but whoever voiced them obviously did not enjoy the job. The animation went through a drastic change in quality from really bad to acceptable. The only characters I enjoyed were the president of the evil organization and his assistant. I don’t... See full review

Shining Hearts

Wow, just oh my god this sucked I truly regret watching this, my stomach actually feels queasy right now. I am so upset that I’m smiling I did not know I could be this disappointed in fact I’m past disappointed I’m past angry I’m am truly happy that I will never have to see this again. I feel giddy as I start this review never have I ever been more happy to utterly destroy a show with my review than I am right now. Let’s get started shall we. There will be spoilers because you should not watch this anyway. Story- The story started out boring and only got worse. It... See full review

Haitai Nanafa

on

Story- Haitai has a very common story strange beings living in the home of regular people and causing humors mischief with their odd abilities. Been there seen that it was ok for what it was and I don’t have any problems with it mostly because it is cute and episodic two of my favorite things in anime. Animation- It looked very colorful and adorable. Sound- nothing wrong, pretty standard, average all of these can be used to describe my feelings on the audio. Characters- Here is where this show went south to many characters not enough time to do anything with them most of the characters in... See full review

Yurumates 3D

on

It has been so long since I got to watch a genuinely cute anime like this one (if you don’t count Chibi Devi). I very much enjoyed Yurumates 3D. Now on to the review. Story- Yuru 3D (as I will henceforth call it) has no story it is purely episodic or I should say seasonal as most of the episodes revolve around how the characters respond to the seasons they are in (how to beat the heat in summer etc.). This would get boring pretty quickly if each episode weren't so short luckily they are so it is all good. While I am on the story I have to bring up this shows only major flaw in my opinion, it... Himawari!

on

Story: Not very good. I did not watch all the episodes but I have friends who did they tell me it did not get much better than what I saw. The story of Himawari has very good potential. The problem was the show took the wrong direction with what it had, They went for a light comedy and though I love that genre if they had added some drama to the series it would have been drastically improved as it stands now it seems like a parody of Naruto, even though I like the idea of a parody of Naruto this show took itself to seriously to be parodic.  Animation: I have said it before and I'll say it again I am... Teekyuu

Story: there isn’t a story at all don’t try to find one you will only get confused. Animation: I don’t know very much about animation but I will say everything looked great. Sound: Nothing noteworthy here, the opening is very fun.  Characters: Here is where the review can really begin. There are only 4 characters the rest of the people are just moving props. Yuri Oshimoto: the youngest of the 4 characters she is the only person in the club that can actually play tennis. She is the sane and logical character in the show who reacts to the others insane and rather stupid antics. She... See full review

Wind: A Breath of Heart

on

Honestly I feel bad writing this review because I did not watch the all the episodes but this anime was painfully boring.  Story: I could not bear this show long enough to find out and most of what I did see I was fighting hard to stay interested in so I cannot give this category a real score. Animation: Mediocre, that is all I can say about it, it's actually kind of hard to remember. Sound: The phrase so good, it's bad comes to mind. Background music is supposed to stay in the background so in a way it did its job, but it did it too well. Just because it is in the background does not mean it... See full review

Hime-sama Goyoujin

on

Story: The story of this anime is pretty random it has a definite premise but other than that it seems pretty much random. Bearing that in mind Hime sama Gyoujin is moderately funny the bar for humor is pretty low but if you're like me you'll laugh at anything at least once. That being said if you don’t like random humor caused by unrealistic situations this anime is to be avoided. Animation: The animation is old-school but good nothing special but nothing wrong either it fits the show pretty well (I don’t know enough about animation to go into any sort of detail but is was fine by my... Chibi Devi!

By the gods this is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. Just wow like just cute overload and it’s not just the babies every character in this anime is cute in one way or another. If you like cute things watch this anime I swear it is adorable. The story CUTE!! Just like everything in this series but still manages to make me feel for the characters with its little dramas in each 5 minute episode. The story flows really well too, each episode picks up exactly where the last one left off. Which is in my opinion very compelling. Another thing that’s great about this series is that because... Sorcerer Hunters

on

So far this is a pretty good anime since I’m watching it in 2012 so I have to give it some leeway in the scoring. I do intend to update this review when I finish this series so this is just a starting commentary. The story well so far it’s kind of plain but it is still funny. The animation is old school but still good. The sound was epic, I love the sound track but I know a few people who don’t so it may not be as good as I think. The main cast are good but the supporting characters are extremely flat like 2-dimetional most of them have no real reason or exist accept to maybe say a... See full review

Koi Koi Seven

on

The only way I can describe this anime is WTF. That’s all there is to it none of it makes any sense. And even when the show tries to explain things the explanations don’t make sense. At first I watched this cause the concept interested me when that failed miserably I just watched it for the ecchi, this was also abysmal at best this is a waste of animation and peoples time. I don’t recommend this to anyone ever. Normally I would talk about story here but this show has no story to criticize it was not even good if you tried to consider it episodic. Animation was dated at best... See full review

Fireball Charming

on

Story: This was a great little series there is first of all no story more like a premise and everything else is built off that. Animation: The animation is ...well that’s pretty obvious just look at the screen shots. Sound: The sound consist of a 3 second dramatic orchestra opening and nothing but the characters voices and sound effects for various movements. Characters: There are only 2 characters Drossel VON FLüGEL and Gedächtnis other various life forms appear but not for more than 1 episode. Overall: Watch this show I purposely reveled very little about this show... See full review

Morita-san wa Mukuchi TV

on

Morita-san wa Mukuchi is a pretty average slice of life/comedy anime. Overall This show is nothing special but it is worth watching in between more serious anime the stories are pretty mellow limited drama and each episode is only about three minutes long. Like most slice of life anime each episode is a stand-alone, usually there is an overall gag for the episodes and the series dose well delivering each one. It’s not laugh hysterically funny but you will at least smile and chuckle. Sound Again nothing special the opening is watchable and the voice acting is good but nothing... See full review

Sousei no Aquarion

on

Characters The characters in my opinion are the most essential part of an anime, even an anime with a weak plot can be a success if the characters are very interesting and likable. The characters in Aqurion are some of the best and well fleshed out characters in a long time. The individual backgrounds are incredibly engrossing I often found myself hoping for another flash back into the past of most of the characters. There are however a few characters that weren't all that bad but seemed for the most part useless though in my opinion every anime needs a few comic relief characters these few or to be... Potemayo

on

Story Potemayo has an ubber basic story every episode with a few exceptions stands alone Suano goes through his regular life which mostly involves going to school with potemayo who do to her infantile curiosity usually causes some sort of commotion and Suano usually is there waiting for her to learn and comfort her when she needs it most of the things that happen resolve themselves by the end of the episode. Even though the storyline is pretty basic it is still enjoyable a quite funny. Overall if you’re looking for anything serious this is not your series I watched this show mostly between other more...
