Hello. Greetings. Salutations.
I'm a mildly attractive human being, with black hair, brown eyes, and standing at about five foot nine. I'm old enough to vote and drink...legally. I enjoy reading (particularly books from guys that have been dead for about one hundred years or more), writing, anime, word games, bowling, running, listening to music, hanging out with buddies, poetry, candlelit dinners, and long walks on the beach. I have a steady job (I'm in the Navy) and I have no rugrats. Thank God. Below are a few of my thoughts on anime and life in general:
Miyazaki is boring. Takahata is not. Makoto Shinkai is a genius. Satoshi Kon is not. Waffle House is nasty. IHOP is not. Angelina Jolie is hot. Brad Pitt is not.
Favorite Movies: Gone With the Wind (all time favorite), It Happened One Night, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Fight Club, The Piano, Benny & Joon, Scarface
Favorite Books: The Kama Sutra - Anonymous, The Three Musketeers - Alexander Dumas (pere), Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy, Rebecca - Daphne du Maurier, The Fixer - Bernard Malamud, Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov, Mama - Terry McMillan, The Feast of All Saints - Anne Rice, Les Miserables - Victor Hugo
Favorite Song: "Dead Boy's Poem" by Nightwish
To nerd: Guitar Hero, the Harry Potter series

Great Profile! Hi there! Haha, guitar hero is awesome and i'll probably be a harry potter fan(atic) for the rest of my life. Aww... too bad you don't like miyazaki or satoshi kon (i hate to disagree but i especially love miyazaki). I might check out the other animators you listed, though. yep. cool profile!

Konnichiwa! Second opinions on reviews are always welcome! Especially since you write awesome ones. ^^ I'd like to know your opinion on Saiunkoku Monogatari. I had to knock my review together by rewatching a few moments of a few episodes and construct most of it from memory. I think a second review would be great on it. Hmmm, have I begged enough?
EDIT: I noticed Sheex beat me to it. Anyway, looking forward to more from you. And great stuff on Escaflowne being in your Top 5. It was in mine at some point, until I changed my selection method. I miss it being in there. Which reminds me - my review for Escaflowne is a pile of crap which I've been trying and failing to rewrite for ages. That would be another one worth a second opinion. Oaky, I'm gonna go now before I talk more nonsense.
