Bio time! I usually postpone writing a profile as it is never easy to provide a relevant description of one's self, to be an object and a subject at the same time can be a somewhat disorienting experience.

I am a literature student and fairly new to anime. My experience is rather limited but I am working to change that and to learn as much as possible. I have a rather nagging tendency to over think issues and I greatly enjoy studying any particular subject that catches my attention. Apart from being something of a book worm I am also a wannabe singer, having had classical singing lessons for a few years.

I am currently in the process of writing a novel that will probably never see the light of day. Either way, writing is immensely rewarding and I could not quite cope without it. I will probably get around to writing anime reviews in a near future, it is but a matter of getting the hang of crafting a minimally professional critique in that particular area.

I suppose I have a weird side to me as I collect bunny items (one of my pets happens to be a rather wild rabbit. Not fuzzy and nice as these animals are usually perceived, my bunny, Helvete, will happilly kick people she dislikes and is at her happiest when hopping away from human contact) and have a rather extravagant taste in clothes (it is akin to Misa's from Death Note). I tend to be shy but am friendly when approached.

Lest I end up rambling I shall conclude this description by saying that I am happy to be a part of this site, where some users are willing to provide such detailed and accurate recommendations, it truly is a wealth of information worth checking out.

I have been meaning to see that one, but after a check peek at episode 1 about a year ago, it just didn't grab me. I'll put it in my queue though, I have such a jumbled mess of bleh series that maybe it'll get picked up quickly ^^.

blue literature isn't doing much for me yet. It's too out there for me. I'd reminds me of kurazuka and shigurui, neither of which I really enjoyed, even though they had some interesting qualities about them.

I do understand where your coming from with umineko, but I still like it, even if it is bad. It's no higurashi though.

I really wish we could get some more exciting seasonal anime overall though, I'm struggling to find more then 3 series a season I actually would like to watch, not to mention them being actually great.

Whoa, unineko hatred? Not a gore fan? I mean, the plot is sketchy, but I'm really liking it. It's fun and mysterious, not to mention pretty.

11 eyes is terrible though, survived 2 epiodes, one of my 11 dropped series this season, out of 20 that I started (which is nearly everything not including sequels). I don't even think most of what I stuck with is particularly good too. Darker than black 2, kimi ni todoke and sesemeki koto are the frontrunners.

The only thing I'm watching right now that I really enjoy though is FMA:brotherhood. It's just been so solid throughout, just brilliant. I hope the series manages to finish with the manga though, because it would just be another annoying "read the manga" series at the end then.

I just just recognized your pic. At least, I hope I did. Ritsuka from Loveless right? Awesome, manga version too. I never read the manga, but the anime was the first ever series I watched from start to finish (I'm gay, so it caught my attention right away, saw a clip of it at my first anime convention). I loved it, but now I realize it's not a terribly good series. The manga, I hear, is a lot better and explains what's going on.

Watching Toradora right now, and I wish the magic that loveless had was in this one, but so far it's not doing much for me.
