School Rumble tells the story of Tenma Tsukamoto, Kenji Harima and many others as they live their high-school lives struggling with the force of love. What begins as a simple love triangle soon becomes a indefinite cycle of "he likes her, she likes him," etc. 

Story: The story is nothing too special at first glance. The basic high-school romance seems to be the idea, but soon it becomes a bunch of comedic shorts that actually have you laughing aloud. I've never really found an anime so humorous that I'd do so, but School Rumble is sometimes either so quirky or so idiotic, it leaves you rolling in the aisles. 

Animation: The animation is pretty basic for the genre. Clean shading and lines keep it nice and tidy. The team drew all the characters very well (boys and girls) and I really enjoyed the different variations on eyes.

Sound: The opening and closing songs blew me away. They definitely go with the theme of the show and are very catchy and fun. Yui Horie and Yuko Ogura are both exceptional artists that get you pumped to watch and come back for more. The soundtrack during the show is pretty average. The sounds are all really clear and fitting to the situation. The english dub is honestly the best I've ever heard. All the voices are fitting and the writing is fantastic. You must watch this in english! ^_^

Characters: School Rumble hosts some of my favorite characters ever. They are all so lovable; Tenma's stupidity, Kurasuma's monotone or Harima's soft side, they all make you relate to and love them. They are all hilarious, and even the secondary characters have some great one-liners that make you chuckle warm-heartedly. 

The Verdict: School Rumble is fantastic for those who want something light where they can laugh out loud. The characters are hilarious, the songs memorable and Kurasuma's turtle costume leave you craving more. One of the best parts; a show where I don't have to read subtitles! :D
