I am a self-proclaimed shut-in/otaku (for the sake of lablels) because of my "obsessive" fascination with Anime and Video Games as hobbies. I do have other interests of course, such as listening to music (I enjoy most genres), art/drawing, reading, collecting, and some sports here and there. My hobbies include a little bit of everything since I have tried my hand at quite a few different hobbies... I like to live by the phase "Hard work may pay off in the long run, but laziness always pays off right now".

I think that's it... Yeah.

Just watched the first episode. Boobs, Drills, and Giant Machines, works for me lol! That was great! Fast paced and crazy is always good lol.

I hear a lot about Eden of the East. I'll have to watch it soon. Right now I think I'm going to watch Gurren Lagann(spelling?). I always here so much about it yet I've never watched it. I guess it's time to get that out of the way.

I agree with you on pretty much everything. You must be another me lol. I don't disagree anywhere at all. Crazy stuff. I have to say though, I'm also a sucker for action, but especially when it's cinematic. I'm a huge fan of the art involved in anime, and art in general, even though I'm not... well... artsy; yet I still love it! So, if you have cinematic/well coriographed(spelling) fight scenes, or great animation quality, I fall head over heels. For instance, the Haruhi Suzumiya movie had to be one of the highest quality films I've seen, in...my entire life I guess. It had a great story combined with something that kept my face glued to the screen, and a bit of action.

I must say though, I also like romances. Nothing cliche though, something unique with a powerful story behind it. Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka? had a bit of that, and Clannad DEFINITELY did. You gotta appreciate the story telling.

Oops, and Haruhi Suzumiya was another that had my attention.

I'm honored! I really appreciate that you added me and I will add you soon enough if you are worthy of the magic ;). Yeah, I'm into stories that keep my face glued to the screen and yearning for more. That said, I haven't really found out what gets me glued to the screen, I just know it when I watch it! Some examples of shows that did the job are:

Clannad + Afterstory

Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?

Fooly Cooly

Code Geass + R2

The entire .hack// franchise.

Unfortunately, those are the only series that really had my attention throughout their entirety. Other shows were entertaining but not quite as uniquely as the previous.

But enough about me, tell me about yourself! What gets you pumped? I'm eager to hear back!
