Thanks. Hope I enjoy it around here :)
It is a screen name I use for most of my games. It should be read as Cross but it is always taken so I just use CRO55.
Twilight Princess was a nice Zelda, although the major downside is that it's pretty damn easy. I did enjoy it plenty, though, and spent many hours uncovering all the extras. I think you'll have fun with it too, although I wouldn't put it above the Phoenix franchise, heheh. =PAlso, if/when you do start Fantastic Children let me know what you think of it. I've been keeping an eye on that one for the longest time but never get around to it.
Galilei Donna was utterly mediocre for the most part, got eyeroll-worthy pretentious near the middle, and insufferably retarded in the last couple episodes... Yet it wasn't nearly as bad as Samumenco is. I gave Donna 1.5/5... Samumenco would only get that if it pulled a meteor ending and everyone died... But burning slowly, I wouldn't have it any other way...
As for noitaminA, yeah... the block has been picking up lots of shit as of late. Luckily we get Yuasa's Ping Pong a few weeks for now, so hopefully that one will break the awful streak. Definitely not counting on that other Nanana show to do it, that looks all kinds of unbearably generic/boring.Samumenco or Hunter? Yeahhh, hard decision indeed! Meanwhile, I'm starting one of Madhouse's actual modern-day "jewels", Mahou Sensou... Halfway through the first episode and I'm already sick of everything about it.
I lied about Oct being a hell month. I basically have a hell life this year ^^ That's ok though, it'll get me to where I want to be. That's all that matters ;_; I'm not feeling burnt out at all, so that's a good thing. Downside, no time for commenting. So yeah, boredom sounds kinda nice atm. Grass on the other side is always greener~
How're you doing? Since it's been a while ^^ Hopefully you haven't been bored this entire time!
Language certification is always helpful ^^ My french teacher always says you can tell people you have great language skills or show them a certificate from an internationally recognized organzation... one of those is more likely to get you a job. English, though? I didn't realize it wasn't your first language!... or maybe I did and I've forgotten. Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking? And why Italian? Already having done Spanish, and now doing French... I probably can't deal with the similarities between those three enough to tack on Italian. It'd be great to learn a completely different language. Though, motivation and determination ;_; sorely lacking.
Teaching huh? I used to want to want to be...wow, excuse my language skills. It's kinda late. Anyway. I wanted to be a elementary school teacher ^^ like 3rd graders. More cause they were cute than because I had any skills teaching them. Good luck with whatever you decide, though. It's such fun figuring that out :P well, it is sometimes!
Anime~ honesly, I had to look up what Beyond the Boundary even was. Cute and forgettable apparently. I'm going to have to finish that one sometime. Kill la Kill is pretty crazy though. I have to catch up but I'm kinda looking forward to it. Hopefully it can carry the momentum. Annnd I remember Diabolik Lovers being ridiculous and instantly dropped. Can't even recall what it was about... what's the DTAB club, though?
Coppelion was one I actually finished. It was sadly, disappointing =( I feel like they wasted an awesome backdrop on terrible villains and a bit too much cheese. I didn't mind the laid back feel from early parts of the show... but the pointless action later on was kinda worse.
I was all gungho about watching lots last season and that severely fell through. I'm trying again this season (plus tacking on stuff from last season). It's going well so far... I actually caught up to Nagi no Asukara, which is fun. Also, maybe Tokyo Ravens. It's kinda silly and not that great? But entertaining enough. This season... I like Noragami. Others are watchable... but idk, there's a lot to watch and I'm not too sure where to start.
Anything you're really liking this season?
