I started anime in the beginning of summer 07(i used to watch DBZ, Gundom Wing, ect on tsunami. At that time I didn’t know that it was "anime.” I really started watching anime in 07 when I saw some anime that didn’t fit what my preconception of what anime was. I love any comedy b/c i love to laugh (my since of humor is somewhat distorted, i find just about everything odd funny, and sometimes people think im a little disturbed/off for that. I consider myself a "closet otaku", mainly b/c nobody knows i even watch anime b/c i do it ~12-4am (i don’t sleep much) on the weekdays and i don’t fit the stereotypical otaku persona. I am 22 years old and reside in the USA. Currently im a student and my state university and a junior working on his business degree. My other interests include: hunting, video games, scuba diving, paintball, intense exercising (crossfit) and just screwing around with friends. I consider myself to be vary immature, and im proud to be it. I hate being serious, but I can if I HAVE to be. Lately I haven’t been watching anime as I have been super busy, but do read manga, and a very small number of VNs.
Disclaimer: I don’t spell well and after years of education and penalties for it I have just accepted it. If a person (i.e. douche bag) complains about it in the forum than ill dedicate a spelling error as I see fit that I will add to every post. That being said I do run posts through Word but it will miss things. As this is supposed to be somewhere to have fun, im not going to meticulously check every post.

But that should not take me more than two days. so i do not know what is next.
Nice profile!!!! Pretty harsh on the standard....lol little kid getting philosophical is like you said annoying I agree. But sometime it is best to just play along. After all people don't just carry sword around. Beside I finnished Monster last weekend Johann is too smart ever since he was 6

Thanx for commenting back!
Yeah, I also go to Crunchyroll but only to watch trailers. x3 Other than that, I'm really picky about watching anime in high quality, so i'll usually download entire series at once through torrenting, download on the veoh player, or go to www.animethat.com.
Same here!! I was also around 5 or 6 years old when I saw Totoro. At the time, Totoro was simply magic, and I feel BLESSED to have watched the legendary Miyazaki's work while I was a little kid. Cuz that was when his work was most effective on me. That's when it felt more special and enchanting.
Welcome to the NHK is on my stalled list, I believe, so I will return to that when I finish what I'm currently watching. Sometimes I switch out my "watching" with a "stalled" anime, but for now, I have to finish Le Chevalier D'EON and wipe out the last 6 episodes of these other remaining anime I'm watching.
As for Spice and Wolf, it hasn't particularly interested me from what I've read and seen about it. =/ The main character being a girl with ears and a wolf tail doesn't appeal to me. It makes me think of my all time non-favorite, Inuyasha, although, I know he was half demon. And I know I have animals under my likes list, but that's to a certain extent. I appreciated Miyazaki's movie, The Cat Returns, and I liked Fruits Basket b/c of the angst and drama. And Cat Soup was amazingly surreal. Oh, Wolf's Rain---that was good too. But something about Spice and Wolf....that's not appealing to me.
