Kajiura Yuki is my favorite composer too, and does the music for My-HiME^^ It's really good, though a lot of people have said they like Mai-Otome better. The stories are completly different, though it has all the characters from My-HiME, along with a few new ones. As for why everyone wants Tsukasa is because they want to find out why he's always in the game. He's trapped in it, and they can't figure out why. It's explained later, though it can be rather confusing at times. .hack//Legend of the Twilight is really good, and a lot easier to understand. .hack//SIGN focuses mostly on "The World", so you don't see people outside the game often. In .hack//LIMINALITY, the characters are mostly outside the game, or at least in the first episode. I never got a chance to watch the other 3. I wasn't as into that one though, but only watching the first episode doesn't tell too much about how good it is, lol.
