I'm not really sure what to say about this anime....
It's entertaining in a way, but it's also pretty dumb and doesn't really make sense.
The characters are a bit 'simple' and the whole 'who, what, when , where, how and why about the marriage doesn't even get mentioned once.
I mean, I already think it's strange enough for Americans to let 16 year olds drive cars, when that is still an age at which most kids still feel like bragging and lack responsibility, but in Japan you can even get married! That is, if you have parental consent...
But then the first thing that happens is an angry father barging in and showing his DISapproval... So, how the heck did they get married?
And if they knew they were going to get into trouble at school, why not wait for it a couple more years?? And how does a guy fall in love with a minor with 7 years age difference? I mean, 7 years if he's in his 30's, ok... But like this...???
There's just so much wrong with this anime and the people in it... And yet, I still thought it was entertaining enough. No, the ecchi does not have anything to do with that either, in case you might think so. I don't really care for that anyway, there's other sources that are more effective if I want anything like that...
So what is it? What is that thing that doesn't make me burn this anime down completely?
Like I said, I'm not sure what to say...
The animation isn't really amazing or anything, I kind of dislike the used style on the characters as well, their faces just look weird. And eventhough the body proportions are closer to normal than most anime, it actually makes them all look a bit chubby.
Let's just finish up and conclude that this is only suitable if you're easily affected by a story of romance that has it's problems, making you feel like wishing the best for them.
I am easily swayed I guess... Might have something to do with me also wishing people (especially the unfortunate) the best in real life.
Anyway, it can be a nice change of pace if you're up for something light. It's just not something to watch in a single go.
