Hmmm, why the high overall rating?
I mean, it's like: Plotholes! Plotholes everywhere!!
And what's the rush?
Here, have a new character, oh here's a little bit of background too and BOOOM! Now he's gone!
What the?! EHm... Okay?
And then after these 12 episodes... Insert coin I guess.
Play on, season 2 coming if enough coins inserted. If not... Well, then you can guess the rest or go to the manga. Which has been going since 2009.
I don't know, I guess it's a nice change of pace from the usual stuff.
Watched this after Mirai Nikki (which also had quite a few problems, but was also very enjoyable.)
By the way, NICE AIM doctor!! Episode 11, about 12 minutes in. LOL! They couldn't resist I guess. Where's your dignity now, huh?
So anyway. The show is trying to go 'deep' with the back ground stories a little, but then doesn't really put much effort in it at the same time... I still hate (impending) rape scenes for some reason (like, c'mon dude, it's just anime), but that was about the most upsetting too.
It really is just the entertainment of the bomb fights.
Yep, bomb fights. Kind of made me want to play Atomic Bomberman. Anybody remember that game? XD
So then, a great waste of time, but entertaining still. Isn't it all a waste of time if you watch all episodes of any anime in one go? That's where the pacing (or hurry) in this anime helps. I was about to call it a night at episode 8, but then I thought, ah whatever. Let's keep going. So now it's 2.30am AND I haven't seen any creepy Yandere chicks! (also Mirai, not to mention Higurashi!)
Good, time for bed then.
Wait, wait, waaaait...
Was this actually any good as a review?
Nope.... Not really. But the 4 star rating is accurate when it comes to entertainment value. Just try not to overthink things, because when you start doing that, a lot of anime suddenly tend to suck. And I have had that trouble lately, so some okay animes really just worked on my nerves 'having to' sit through them...
Am I getting too old for this sh!]?
