Nah, NHK couldn't have ended any better than it did. It takes place in the real Japan and brings forth real problems with Japanese society, so a romantic fairy-tale ending would have been completely out of place. I think the ending was happy enough with Sato getting rid of his hikkikomori ways. It shows that even Hikkikomoris can escape their cruel fates and return to a normal life.

I guess I'll have to give Air Gear another chance when I get hold of a new harddrive (my current one is completely full).  

I know, life is way too hectic nowadays. Sometimes I wish I just had a device so that I could freeze time and just take a long, nice rest :3

Points? Sorry, I don't quite follow. Add new animes? I doubt I've discovered any animes that aren't in AP's database already x)

Wow!I just now read your last recommendation: Bokusatsu->FLCL. Amazing! so funny and right on the spot [especially that last sentence].

I'm watching Bokusatsu too, at this moment, just wondering how incredibly similar it is to FLCL and pondering about the recommendation I should write too. ;)

Since you ask so nicely, I guess i have no choice but to write something in Norwegian to you. But first, some information; there are two versions of Norwegian. Bokmål (the standard Norwegian which I approve of) and Nynorsk (a dialect-based written language which I think should be erased from history).

Here comes a little piece in both:

Bokmål: Animasjonsfilm er bildemanipulering som skaper en illusjon av bevegelse tilnærmet lik virkeligheten. Jeg visste ikke helt hva jeg skulle skrive, men ettersom du antageligvis ikke forstår hva jeg skriver uansett, skrev jeg ned det første jeg kom på ;)

 Nynorsk:

Yeah, i noticed you updated you profile. And about that.... What happened to Welcome to the NHK? How come you dropped it from 1st spot on yout top 5 list to a mere 3/5 star rating? Didn't the ending suit your tastes? I thought it was great :O

You speak Russian? Wow, I didn't even know Russian was being teached in Scnadinavia (no offence, really). But now that I think about it, it might come in handy for you. After all, Finland and Russia are neighbouring countries (unless I've got the world map all wrong). I myself only speak Norwegian, English and German (with the latter one being involuntary). I'm also studying Japanese during my summer vacations, and I hope to make significant progress this summer, so that I can travel to Japan in the not-too-far future ^^

What I've been doing lately... Well, basically, schoolwork. I have 5 tests, 2 presentations and 3 assignments the next two weeks, so I guess I'll be busy for quite some time... :/

Oh well, it'll work out somehow.

That said, it's not like I've been doing nothing but schoolwork. I recently watched ef- a Tale of Memories, which is visually the best anime I've ever seen. The art even topped that of Kanon, which I didn't even think was possible. I don't dare to recommend anythind anything to you though, as I'm not really sure what kind of animes you like anymore.. :P

Air-Gear, you say? Well, I watched the first five episodes last year, but it felt to me like it was just another one of those shonen-animes about the sorry boy who wants to become the best, so I dropped it.

By the way.. Are these 'consequences' long-ranged? If so, please replace "dropped" with "stalled" :P

Yeah, I guess I'm a bit closer to it than you are. But hey, I have 400+ episodes of Pokemon and 100+ episodes of Digimon on my list. (I was a Pokemon freak when I was a kid. My mom even made me a cap similiar to the one Ash (the main character) has xD)

Those two series make up one and a halv week alone xD

Nah, your use of smileys isn't that irregular. I prefer it when people use a lot of smileys, because otherwise it's hard to tell when people are joking and when they're not :P

I think we all agree that school sucks. But really, I don't envy you. My teachers always use the Finnish school as example when scolding us, explaining how much more dicipline there is in Finland and how much better grades the students in Finland get. I think school here in Norway is hard enough :/

However, 'it's better to be safe than sorry.' I really can't think of a worse situation than finding out you can't live your life the way you want to because you were too lazy with you schoolwork.. :/
