Recently, I've been doing.... well, nothing much actually. I haven't watched any anime for a while, but consentrated more on manga and books and just surfing around Internet. The reason for this just might be that I'm currently stuck in my parents' in the countryside, so bye bye to my own computer, foulders of anime and solitude, and hello to laptop, whining people, online anime quality, flies and cow dung. Okay, there's no cows anywhere near here but everything else pretty much applies :D
I finally read the first two volumes of Welcome to the NHK! I've had waiting in my desk for ages, and as expected after seeing the anime, it made it into my top 5 of current favourites. But as I read from someones blog, the manga is indeed a little darker than the anime with no sound effects or seiyuus to make it more humorous, and sometimes you really stop to think about the reality that's not so far from the manga. Anyway, a great series, and thank god there's no more volumes than 8 so I can actually afford buying the whole series and read it sometime this century ^^
I have kind of "promised" myself that when I have moved enough titles from my Stalled-list to my Watched-list, then I can start watching some new series from my Want to Watch-list. This is because I have a bad habit of starting a series, watching a few eps and then moving it to my Stalled-list when I don't have the next episode or I watch something else. Then after that, I wont get back to watching that title I started but start another series and then move that to the Stalled-list, and the circle closes... So, in order to keep my Stalled-list relatively short and to keep me from forgetting what happened in earlier episodes, I'll try to cut the list down to half. Which currently means that I'd need to finish 20 titles before I can start a completely new one. Okayyyyyyyy......
Well, you know what, one week to summer holidays and then I've nothing but time on my hands, time to watch anime and read manga and enjoy myself! :3 Unfortunately I didn't land a job, as did not many other my aged people either, summerjobs are really scarce this year because of the recession, but thankfully I am always welcomed here, leeching at my parents' house. I wouldn't really want to be here, I mean come one, there's nothing here but fields, very distant neighbours, a road filled with caravaners and trucks and a pond filled with mud. Actually, scratch that, I love it here, at least it's peaceful! :D
Blah blah blah okay, sorry for anyone actually reading this whole post and now thinking 'this blog was the biggest waste of time in existance'. I was really just bored, and I found myself writing this as I usually do when I can't think of anything else to fiddle with in A-P. Thank you for your time and please come again~
