I haven't really been doing much, I have exams this week but next will be on Friday, so I'm having a nice, sort of a vacation. After the Waste Your Halloween-marathon I haven't really wanted to watch anything, maybe I had a too big of a "portion" of anime then :D
Instead, I've been reading a little manga and a few Finnish anime/manga- related magazines. Oh, how I miss animecons! I was reading articles about some cons we had here this year. The last one that I attended, the Animecon/Finncon, was in the capital of Finland, Helsinki, and there was so many people, so great cosplays and a grand pile of awesome stuff to buy. Because of that, almost all we did with my semi-otakufriend was walked through the sellers-section and browsed through endless manga, anime and merchandise. Then we walked outside where most of the cosplayers were posing for photos and just awed the beautiful costumes. And off course, we stood for many hours watching the annual but unofficial Final Fantasy Fight-event held in the yard.
It was a blast! I loved it, although I wasted almost all my money. My friend used her money on the first day already, but it was her first time on a larger con like that, so I saw that coming :) We were first going to the afterparty (for adults, as we were both 18 already), but then after waking up so early in the morning and a long, exhausting day practically not eating we decided that we'd just go back to the hotel and realx a bit. It was the right choice.
I think next con I'll be attending will be Bakacon (yes, we Finns are brilliant at naming cons :D) in April next year, and it's going to be held in a smaller city in central Finland. But nontheless, it's a con, there'll be cosplay, panels and sellers, so what the heck, we're going! ^^ And it's not that far from where I live, I just have start saving some money 'cause I'm a big spender. Unfortunately.
Well, I think tomorrow when I have more free time, I'll start watching some new anime-series. My want to watch-list is only expanding and it's not going to get any shorter before I've watched some anime from my stalled list. Usually if I have a title in my stalled-list that has no episode count, it means that I have the series in my PC but I just haven't yet started watching it. I think right now, such series like Bartender and Serial Experiments Lain sound good, but I'll see. I always have trouble making up my mind as to what I'll start watching next and then I just tend to continue with some "old" series that I've been watching, like Gintama. Gintama rules! ^^
I'll blog again soon enough and hopefully get some of those reviews done too. My first user review of Le Portrait de Petit Cossette is already viewable, so I am getting something done... slowly but steadily.
