You may call me, Matt. I'm just a poor country boy, but an intelligent and articulate one at that. I was subjected to the glorious world of anime at a tender age of 4 starting with the series Kimba the White Lion. Dispite it's horrible English voice acting I took quite a shine to the show and decided to learn more about it and its origins. That led me to my acute interest in Japanese culture and animation as a whole. Sharing my interests, money, and free time between both avid gaming and anime I've built a rather sizable collection over the 20 years that I've walked this earth and apparantly picked up this Otaku title on the way. I have a hard time finding a particularly bad anime in all that I watch due to the fact that there's always something to gain in experiencing something new. A few years back after watching Great Teacher Onizuka I decided to take my hobby to the next level when I started studying to be an ESL teacher in Japan. As of now I'm currently making my way through college on my way to achieving that very goal. If you ever feel like discussing a series with me or are just feeling up to chatting with a fellow enthusiest feel free to drop me a line. (By the way, as a way of explaining all of the anime that I'm currently "watching", this may also refer to anime that I have purchased and own, but have lined up to watch. Also one should note that I've watched at least one episode of each anime in the watching list, so theoreticly I'm watching them. ^_^)
