Hi, I'm Maron Kusakabe, nicknamed after my favorite anime/manga character from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.

I've been in love with anime and manga for years now. I suppose I started with Digimon back when I was little. My very first episode was the one where Hikari gives herself up to Myotismon (which is probably why she was my favorite character back then.) But when I rewatched the series in Japanese, Taichi became my favorite.

Usually, I love romantic Shoujos. Yeah, I'm a stereotype. "Girl is in love with boy, someone comes between them, in the end they get together." I absolutely adore the titles that take that basic plotline and twist it around into something beautiful. You could say that my favorite anime, Peach Girl, is a stereotypical Shoujo but I still love it. <3 ((Also I'm extremely good at predicting who a girl will end up with in the end. ;) My secret talent.))

There are also other types of anime I love - like the psychological ones or even sometimes shonen like Bakuman or Code Geass. Just take a look at "My Five Star Anime!" list and you'll see how far my interests go!

I also absolutely adore watching Japanese drama. My favorite is Proposal Daisakusen. And my favorite Japanese band is KAT-TUN.
