about me

Hi there!I'm 17 years old and an average boy. I got hooked on anime a while ago when i found this Love hina sim dating game on the site 'newgrounds'. When i realised there was an actual anime series, I went crazy. I was overwhelmed by my first series :D That's why Love hina and romance series in overall will always have a special place in my heart. Since im a very corny guy, i realy enjoy Slice of life, highschool and romance series. When i start a series i really get absorbed by the whole series and their characters. some of the milestones in my anme/manga life are: Clannad, Kanon, Suzuka, and Kgne.I will never forget these series as they really had a great impact on me.Clannad and Kanon had these beautiful visuals and melancholic feel to them, which  had me mesmerized for many weeks. Suzuka was a beautiful journey about life, love and reality which struck me right in the heart.Kimi ga nozumu eien was the first series that actually got me bawlin like a lil kid.

After having seen Suzuka i decided to make a profile on Animeplanet since nobody in my school or area appreciates manga and anime. And it was one of the best things that ever happened to me :). I made many new friends and felt like i had finnaly found a spot where i kinda belonged.Which leads me to the next thing: As of this year i also started watching Shounen :D.A friend of mine actually convined me to make the step towards Shounen, through Naruto.I always thought that Naruto was one of those superficial 'kid' series (think pokemon). But i was completely wrong.  It struck me like a paper airplaine on the forehead of a teacher. It was nothing like what i had expected. it's very deep.Since Naruto i finnaly crossed the bridge towards Shounen. I started one piece aswell and it caught me just as badly. All of this has learnt me not to be so petty when it comes to starting something new :).Either way, i hope that the next few month brings many new good series :)

hey I've been reading Dance in the Vampire Bund and it's pretty good.  It definitely has romance in it.  Plenty of action.  And they kinda put a new spin on vampires and werewolves.  It's ecchi at times and I'm not a huge fan of the topless flat chested little girl (she's actually much older but for reasons as yet unknown doesnt age)  but the rest of the story is pretty good.  Unfortunately it's only up to chapter 31 as of now on Onemanga.com or its actually already published in english surprisingly.  But alas I've reached that point now lol.

Oh and if you didn't know they added another chapter to Kimi No Iru Machi as well.  Now I have two manga series that I have to wait for....ugh lol

no i lied, i found a better way,, just do an advanced search on Mangafox.  Go to mangafox and type in the manga u like, then in a sperate tab do an advanced search.  type in the genres of the manga u want and see what relates.  This is how i usually find most of my manga.

thats about all that relates to kimi no iru machi

I mostly read action and rarely come across pure amazing romance, most action i read has romance in it but not as the basis of the plot.  Sorry but i cant help ya much. XD

well i just got the time to comment so here goes. XD.Thanks for the comment, much appreciation for the review comment, im always pleased when i can help someone.  i can also agree with this statement, "if theyd found out i read this (im a guy), id become the biggest douchebag" . LMFAO no one knows i read manga in school or watch anime, its kinda a personal secret i dont tell people mainly because ill be mass looked down upon if ya know what i mean.  but like i told Blue down below, this site is only place i can really talk about anime/manga so i like to write things so people will notice and talk about em.  my review brought people together LMFAO.  Suzuka had me thinking for a good week about my life.  It made me realize im pretty fucking lonely and i want a gf but i cna wait for college XP.  though it is manga, it does have some good lessons in their and i like that it turns a negative thing into somehting (kill me for saying somehting girly) beautiful.

and the comment on my page, i can say its realy great to hear i did an great review.  IM pretty noobish in reviews and writing things but its good i can hit the nail on the head.

there are alot of mangas i can recommend but Love Hina is not one of them. From a person who likes Kimi No Iru Machi and Suzuka, love hina is way way to slow for me.  I was pointed out by another person that the harem just doesnt fill the reality in the romance.  Pretty much what im saying is, what girl is gonna be ok with another girl going after their guy?  Love Hina is carefree but most of all, it draggs on.  honestly i read to chapter 60 of love hina and then picked up Suzuka and then Kimi No Iru Machi, i have read to chapter 70 of Love Hina and thats about as far as i can go.  its to redundant and slow and just carrries on with no iinteresting plot.  Now thats off my chest, i can recommend Mysterious Girlfriend X and Pastel. thats about it, those are good mangas so try em out.  sorry for writing to much, and glad to make ur friends ^_^

I read Solanin, it's about these kids that just finished college and are kinda in that limbo between college and real life.  there's not a whole lot of romance since most of the characters already have a gf/bf.  but I noticed slice of life was one of your top genres so thought u might be interested.  It's a oneshot but it's pretty long and if u like to buy your manga it's already published in English by Viz in their Signature line.  Other than Solanin the only manga that I've read more than 1-3 chapters is Claymore.  I get the feeling that that's not your cup o tea lol.

about Love Hina...I'd heard that it's kind of a harem romance and harems just idk sound like something I'd like.  I mean correct me if I'm wrong but that's what i've heard.
