I think I’ve watched/known about anime my whole life.
In my younger years I watched Dragon ball, Pokémon, sailor moon and Tokyo mew mew, and all the other stuff they showed on TV then I was younger.
Then I got older I watched some Studio Ghibli films - my first one was Spirited away.
It was first when I was fourteen I really began to watch anime, and the first anime I watched was Death Note, which my older sister recommended for me.
I haven’t found an anime series as good as Death note yet, it is, no doubt, my favourite of all time + Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli films, of course.

I love anime, but I wouldn’t say that there is a specific genre I love the most.
I can love a Shoujo Anime as much as a Mystery Anime, it’s most about the quality, history and also a little about the artwork of the anime.
