Okay, this is my first anime review ever, I don't really like scoring my opinions, unless I find an anime extremely good or just plain bad.

Here we go~

Story; 1/10

Being a Blood+ fan, I expected alot from Blood-C. Maybe I shouldn't have though, as the story proceeded the EXACT same way for 6-7 episodes (and that's alot, considering it was an anime with only 12 episodes), to in the 3 last episodes drop a huge bomb of confusement. I guess her flashbacks/lost memories was the thing that kept me interested in knowing what would happen in the end. Also being related to Blood+, there were slight hints from it, such as Saya herself and the fact that she required a sword to fight the monsters a.k.a Elder Bairns. But it just wasn't enough imo. The story itself wasn't exciting at all.

Animation; 7/10

The animation was actually pretty good, I liked the fighting scenes until it got out of hands with all the blood and violence in the end. The character design for Saya pissed me off though, especially her hair: what the hell? Her hairbands must've been from out of this world to make such pigtails, but the animation overall was good.

Sound; 8/10

Thumbs up on the sounds! The OP and ED songs were spot on & the background music were good & set a nice mood throughout the series.

Characters; 2/10

Saya - A huge disappoint, she was just plain BORING. I did like her a little more when she went into her "red eyes"-mode, but it was too much of a difference between that and Saya in school among her friends. Her classmates set a funny and friendly mood in school, but you couldn't count on Saya to protect them.

Overall: 3/10, not worth watching.
