 こんにちは!

College student who wastes most of her life thinking about fictional characters. I like all genres but I'm not big on episodic, monster-of-the-week, sports, or slice-of-life.

I'm thinking of going through and reevaluating my ratings.

Saddest anime I’ve seen: Clannad After Story

Most dramatic anime I’ve seen: Elfen Lied (story wise), Ef Tales of Memories (animation wise)

Most actiony anime I’ve seen: Fairy Tail

Boringest anime I’ve seen: Yami to boushi to hon no Tabibito

Shortest anime I’ve seen: Hairy Tale (1 minute)

Longest anime I’ve seen: Dragon Ball series

Scariest anime I’ve seen: Ghost Hunt

Weirdest anime I've seen: Cat Soup

Anime with the most nudity: Sekirei

Anime with most character deaths: Code Geass

VAs I've Met:

Vic Mignogna

Things I love:

Stories with meaning/sybolism, Examples: Clannad After story (still trying to understand that one fully), Naruto (there is some), Wolf's Rain (which is mostely symbolic, at least to me (only because I am such a wolf freak which is why it makes me so sad)), Avatar the Last Airbender (lots of meaningfullness there), kick-ass women (Alice from Resident Evil, Alice from American McGee's Alice, Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), anything with wolves, characters with developement, psychological stories, and fantasy.

Things I don't like:

Stupid people (Paradise Kiss, Loveless, some side peoples in Strawberry Panic) Stories that have endings such as them waking up and it all being a dream and meaningless (first Pokemon movie).

Some Favorite Characters Not listed:

Larka (The Sight), Zuko (Avatar the Last Airbender), Squall (FFxiii), Vivi (FFix), Serah (FFxiii), Noel (FFXiii-2), and Cheshire Cat (American McGee's Alice), and Fredrick (Eternal Sonata).

Some OTPs:

Kurogane/Fai (Tsubasa), Homura/Madoka (Madoka), Axel/Roxas/Xion (KH), Riku/Sora/Kairi (KH), Nowaki/Hiroki (Junjou Romantica), Clear/Aoba (DMMd), Jellal/Erza (Fairy Tail), Kagami/Kuroko (KnB), Future Gohan/Future Trunks (DBZ), Naruto/Sakura (Naruto), Yuuri/Wolfram (KKM), Shizuo/Izaya (Drrr), Tamahome/Miaka (Fushigi Yuugi), SaitoxLouise (Zero no Tsukaima), Inuyasha/Kagome (Inuyasha), Yogi/Gareki (Karneval), Aladdin/Alibaba/Morgiana (Magi), Oz/Gil (Pandora Hearts), Ichigo/Orihime (Bleach), Mikasa/Eren/Armin (SnK),  Barnaby/Kotetsu (T&B), Rin/Shiemi/Yukio (Blue Exorcist), Rita/Estelle (Tales of Vesperia), Kaworu/Shinji (Evangelion), Ed/Winry (FMA), Aang/Katara (Avatar), Ikuto/Amu (Shugo Chara), Soul/Maka (Soul Eater), Nami/Robin (OP), Fakir/Ahiru (Princess Tutu), Lelouch/Shirley (Code Geass),  Zero/Yuki (Vampire Knight), Germany/Italy (Hetalia), Makoto/Haru (Free!), Kyo/Tohru (Fruits Basket), Sebastian/Ciel (Black Butler)

So, I've finally uploaded my response to the university server. I ended up writing about something completely different though. I read the text back and forth several times (thank all the kami that it was only one chapter of the book) and ended up commenting on how I don't really think you can classify Japanese as a language with closed syllables based on the fact that you can find syllables ending with N in the language because N is a sonorant so a syllable like "kan" in "kankoku"  should still be considered open based on the sound you actually pronounce.

Anyway, your idea is great and I might still use it in the future. We were only allowed to write 1800 letters at the most though and I had a difficult time fitting my thoughts in that range enough as it was. Kinda funny how I was initially scared I'd write two sentences and have nothing more to say.

Whether we can appreciate the sound of our own language is an interesting question, one that the author touches upon and one that I've considered before as well. I had an insteresting discussion with my Slovak roommate about it. You might know that we used to be one country and our respective languages are very similar so we can mostly understand each other without studying the language. To me and most of my friends, their language sounds much softer and much more beautiful than Czech. But my roommate said that it really suprised her because she thought Czech is really beautiful and she couldn't imagine watching certain movies with Slovak dubbing and that she couldn't imagine Christmas without Czech fairytales (which I don't particularly appreciate).

So how did the quiz go? Radicals should be the be the basic components of each kanji - sometimes it's easier to remember a kanji when you can recall what components it's made of.

I think Native American culture is fascinating though I have to admit I'm drawn to the North American cultures more than to the south, which might be considered unfair.

You didn't tell me you couldn't make money that way. That's a pity. You could try making let's plays or something. I heard you can actually earn some money that way though I don't personally know anyone who does.

So what score do you have to get? I haven't ever looked into any options of making money online in my country, I just heard a Slovak game streamer complain how he couldn't earn as much money streaming from Slovakia as if he lived in the UK or the US.

And how does Bubblews work? I hadn't heard about it before you mentioned it.

I recall the trip seemed quite pricey even before the cost was doubled, is it still worth it? WWOOF really does sound awesome. I think it could really work for you if you wanted to do something with Heather because it's entirely up to you how much time you spend anywhere so you have a lot of room to work around your schedule.

There's another organisation called INEX but I'm not sure if it's local or international. The fee they charge is bigger but they provide you with information to the smallest detail. It seemed less intimidating than WWOOFing but I suppose there aren't as many options. Anyway, I still don't have enough money to buy a plane ticket but I think I'm going to start saving up.

I read shonen, shonen ai, shoujo, yaoi, yuri, action, well you get the point. Anything that is good. But I can not stand when in shoujo comes a side character that tries to wreck the relationship of the main carachters. I HATE THAT!!! >:(  I love reading mangas that are really funny. Sometimes I fall of my chair because of my laughing and continue laughing on the floor. My favorite manga and anime is Highschool of the dead, because I love zombies, yes I have read Sankarea, and zombie kingdom and such a shame there were only 11 chapters of zombie kingdom and then they dropped the manga T.T. I only watched 15 minutes of kyoukai no Kanata because my internet was on strike that day and from that point I didn't watch it. <-<. Anything that pops up on the scans I read it. I don't really care if art is bad,big mangas that didn't have that good art turned beautiful, in some mangas it doesn't take many chapters for the art to change. Like Lovely Comlpex, yes manga and it is only better because so many things happened in manga and the art in anime is the same as the one in the beginning and funny X3 but in manga the art now from aya nakahara is really beautiful, and I like that the girl in manga isn't shy and tops beauty of an average girl in that school, in the later parts of manga Koizumi is beautiful but before that she is just hilarious but enough of that. If there is anything that can make me load a page with this piece of shit internet, it loads one page for 3 minutes and than again if only a part of page is loaded, back to the subject it is a manga that can make me have that grin on my face for the rest of the day or that can make me blush as hell because of embarrassing moments in it and for that I WILL TAKE THIS BLOODY INTERNET and load next chapter >:3. I saw that you read BL. Can you recommend one to your fujoshi sister :3. Forgive me if you can, if I just insulted you. Sorry
