College student who wastes most of her life thinking about fictional characters. I like all genres but I'm not big on episodic, monster-of-the-week, sports, or slice-of-life.

I'm thinking of going through and reevaluating my ratings.

Things I love:

Stories with meaning/sybolism, Examples: Clannad After story (still trying to understand that one fully), Naruto (there is some), Wolf's Rain (which is mostely symbolic, at least to me (only because I am such a wolf freak which is why it makes me so sad)), Avatar the Last Airbender (lots of meaningfullness there), kick-ass women (Alice from Resident Evil, Alice from American McGee's Alice, Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), anything with wolves, characters with developement, psychological stories, and fantasy.

Things I don't like:

Stupid people (Paradise Kiss, Loveless, some side peoples in Strawberry Panic) Stories that have endings such as them waking up and it all being a dream and meaningless (first Pokemon movie).

Some Favorite Characters Not listed:

Larka (The Sight), Zuko (Avatar the Last Airbender), Squall (FFxiii), Vivi (FFix), Serah (FFxiii), Noel (FFXiii-2), and Cheshire Cat (American McGee's Alice), and Fredrick (Eternal Sonata).

Some OTPs:

Kurogane/Fai (Tsubasa), Homura/Madoka (Madoka), Axel/Roxas/Xion (KH), Riku/Sora/Kairi (KH), Nowaki/Hiroki (Junjou Romantica), Clear/Aoba (DMMd), Jellal/Erza (Fairy Tail), Kagami/Kuroko (KnB), Future Gohan/Future Trunks (DBZ), Naruto/Sakura (Naruto), Yuuri/Wolfram (KKM), Shizuo/Izaya (Drrr), Tamahome/Miaka (Fushigi Yuugi), SaitoxLouise (Zero no Tsukaima), Inuyasha/Kagome (Inuyasha), Yogi/Gareki (Karneval), Aladdin/Alibaba/Morgiana (Magi), Oz/Gil (Pandora Hearts), Ichigo/Orihime (Bleach), Mikasa/Eren/Armin (SnK),  Barnaby/Kotetsu (T&B), Rin/Shiemi/Yukio (Blue Exorcist), Rita/Estelle (Tales of Vesperia), Kaworu/Shinji (Evangelion), Ed/Winry (FMA), Aang/Katara (Avatar), Ikuto/Amu (Shugo Chara), Soul/Maka (Soul Eater), Nami/Robin (OP), Fakir/Ahiru (Princess Tutu), Lelouch/Shirley (Code Geass),  Zero/Yuki (Vampire Knight), Germany/Italy (Hetalia), Makoto/Haru (Free!), Kyo/Tohru (Fruits Basket), Sebastian/Ciel (Black Butler)

Sometimes the old-fashioned way is really the most reliable way, isn't it? You can lose a great amount of data so easily when you have it on your computer. And I've never learnt to back up my files regularly.

Personally I haven't decided how I'm going to take notes in classes yet. I suppose that in my language classes it would be best to have a pen and a piece of paper to write on but I'm not sure about geography and history of Japanese cinema. I kinda don't want to have to lug my laptop around but I'm not sure how safe it's doing to be to just leave it in the dorm room.

Well, I wish them both the best of luck no matter how long they stay together. And when they decide to part, I hope it will be on good terms.

Your classes would feel so weird to Czech students. We had discussions in class mostly just to take a break from the overload of facts and theories, so having a class based on discussion would feel a bit like doing nothing for us. But perhaps university will be different.

Oh, you mean Justin (the blonde). He can be mean but he's actually kind of a sweetheart. He is naive but doesn't stay that way for all that long. I don't know, I'd come to love all the characters eventually. Like the lesbian couple, Lindsay and Melanie, I didn't like them at all at first and I found Melanie (the brunette) especially unattractive but by the third season I couldn't get enough of her, both because of her looks and her personality. And Michael (the main guy's best friend) is a great character, too (and his mother is awesome).

So what are you doing this weekend? I went to visit my primary school history teacher yesterday and it was great. I felt stunned at how much our school has improved. They now have a lot of exchange student, sports events and stuff...five years back we were lucky to have a Christmas high jump contest :D. But the bell is kinda creepy. It's not a normal bell sound anymore, now they have various "music" and the one piece I hear sounded like something between a wedding and a funeral march, which was supposed to announce the end of the break :D.

It really seems that computers don't like you, senpai :).

Wow, I know that big age gap is rather common in relationships (even more so in same-sex relationships, it seems) but that's really something. It's like imagining I started going out with my history teacher, whom I had a crush on (and going to visit on Friday). I reckon it's really tough making the relationship work even if Daryll is really a goof.

Maybe Matsumoto-sensei writes it that way so she would make you pronounce it as a long "e" sound instead of making it sound like "ey". Depending on the speaker, the pronunciation is kinda blurry, mostly it sounds as if you swallowed the i at the end of the word. Buf if you were let's say a karate practicioner, you would know the word and pronounce it the English way so maybe it's because she wants to kick English speakers' bad habits? It's just a wild theory though. Or does she write it sensee in hiragana, too? Because then I wouldn't have any idea why.

The both classes sound like something I would really enjoy despite what the grading would be like. We had some discussions on those topics in Humanities but they were mostly only attempts. We weren't led to voice our own opinions often so when some teachers actually tried to stir up a discussion, it tended to be really stiff.

I rather like sports but only things you can do alone or in small groups like swimming or badminton. I actually used to play weekly with my uncle but then things got in the way and for some reason I never started playing with him again.

Working with children can be really rewarding though. I'm sure Heather will do alright.

I really think you could like Hormones then. Give it a try. There's this one character, her name is Dao and she has the sweetest smile and she writes fanfiction. Sorry if I'm repeating myself, I just can't get over her :D.

Well, I think that plot-wise, QaF is well worth watching but everyone has their own taste :). It's just that I like it much more than L Word even though I should be partial to a series with lots of women.

God, I'm really high on genmaicha today. My friend introduced me to this lovely tea-house that's actually really close to where I live and I didn't know about it at all. And they had really sweet waitresses :D. Sometimes, looking at beautiful women (in the most polite way, I should add) puts me in such high spirits. Like, I always try to make eye contact - not really for flirting purposes (though maybe a little) but it just makes me feel good. Granted, it's kinda in their job description to be pleasant but not every waitress really is.
