Hello, everybody!  I'm a fan of anime and manga, and I'm willing to watch/read just about any genre.  I'm constantly looking for even more anime/manga to add to my collection.

The way I rate the anime's on my anime list involves how much I like/enjoyed watching the anime.  If I like an anime then it will at least recieve 3.5 stars.  How high of a rating it will recieve after that depends on my overall level of enjoyment, any flaws that it may have (and how major I feel those flaws are), and various other factors.  If I sort-of-like/want to like an anime but ultimately feel mixed feelings about it then I will give it 3.  If feel like an anime is 'meh' then I'll give it a 2 or 2.5.  Animes with those scores are ones that I didn't really like but I don't hate it either.  If I strongly dislike or dowright hate an anime, I'll give it a 0.5, 1, or 1.5 (depending on my hatred).

I don't really rate series hard either. I've noticed that a lot of people rate things based on criticism instead of entertainment, but I can't ever do that unless I'm writing a review on the series. Un-Go is a great example of this. I really enjoyed it and I found it to be entertaining, but if I were to review it, I'd probably give it a rating of no more than 6.5 or 7 out of 10.

Most of the time when I hunt for a manga to read, I'll find one with a really interesting summary but once I start reading it, I lose interest. I suppose I'm really picky when it comes to manga, which is strange because I'm not picky at all when it comes to anime. I searched the manga that you mentioned and they all sound interesting, so the next time I feel like starting a manga, I'll give those a chance.

I wish I read manga as much as I watched anime. I love to read, but manga doesn't seem to really pull me in as much as anime does. It's weird.

Hopefully everyone else will realize it too. That's the only problem I had with changing my name, but then again, there's not too many people I talk to on here.

I love buying anime on DVD but I always get caught up in the stuff I watch online, so it takes me forever to sit through the entire DVD. I'll get to it eventually though. I bought Samurai Champloo a good while ago but I still haven't completely rewatched it.

I should have mentioned that I changed it before commenting you with the new name.  I'm glad you realized who I was, though.

Ooh, that's nice. I'd love to have it on DVD myself, but I could say that about a lot of series, haha. I bought The Girl Who Leapt Through Time a while ago, yet I haven't got around to watching it. I'm slow when it comes to watching movies.

Yeah, I kind of like this username better. I just hope I don't end up confusing anyone. ^^;
