To keep it short and simple, I get on here way more than I should. I seem to mostly love anime, but lately I've done nothing but read. (Manga, that is). I'm up for watching/reading anything, especially if it's circa the 90s or has some flavorings of romance/shounen-ai. Sci-fi are also quite welcomed. I support team Takano. That is all.

I am so sorry I haven't responded back to you. Once school ended I went home for winter break, and there I do not have time to go online. So I finally came back to school on Sunday and now I am starting a new semester. Also getting back into my life that is filled with anime, manga and video games. When I go home, I am a completely different person lol
I had a friend who only watched K-dramas. I tried to make her watch anime but she would rather watch k dramas. She tried to make me watch it but I couldn't get into it. But I do watch a lot of korean movies such as A Better Tomorrow, A Man From Nowhere and My Way, Which I all recommend because they are such amazing movies.
I been watching some anime on Hulu, I was able to watch the whole series Soul Eater. Which I have to say was pretty good but I think I shall read the manga since I feel tha anime had some holes.
Luckily in the next week or so I will get my refund from my scholarships and I will buy a $100 dollar Amazon card and buy all the movies that I mention earlier and many other movies. Speaking of money today I found $5. It was just sitting there. after 30 seconds of waiting for someone to return I took it. Forgive me whoever was the owner, just know it was spent on some fish food.
I will just do a quick summary of what happen since our last email to now:
Thanksgiving: I was sick so the thanksgiving meal wasn't much fun since I coulnd't stuff myself.
Black Friday Shopping: Stood in line from Target a 2pm ( I know it sounds crazy, and guess what it was lol) but I was able to buy a Blu-ray player and a whole bunch of movies. I would have bought a laptop from Best Buy but the line was already crazy long so went home after Target.
School: I actually got good grades, which is a complete mystery to me. My lowest grade was Spanish, a B-. I hated Spanish, it was so evil and I got an A in math which was the biggest surpise but luckily my GPA was good enough for me to keep my scholarship. yay
Winter Break: Was sick on Christmas day, don't know why but I keep getting sick on holidays lol and finished my Persona 4 Golden game at 3 AM on the 27th I believe. It was such a beautiful ending that I cried. I am not kidding I was hiding under my blankets finishing the game. It was amazing. I am now playing a second playthrough
Now: I got my first fish Sunday night. People are surpise I never had a fish lol but now I have one and he is so cute. His name is Milo and he is a betta fish. He is very pretty. Umm.. my class schedule suck. On monday and wednesday I will be at school from 8am to 6:45 pm so I will need to find a place to sleep at some point in that day.
Hope you comment back even though its been forever since we last talked. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and hope school is fun! Sorry for the late reply.
Well I do not know if you celebrate Christmas but I hope you have a great day off from school!
I have not seen Latin (from what I can tell it looks pretty under the radar). Yeah Blogger is by far the most user friendly blogging service (being free is nice too).
Ahhh yes join in on the extra Christmas sleep it’s so nice :D. Yeah while there isn’t a lot of information out on the sequel, it’s been pointed out by many different sources that DICE is currently working on it. The original game was also under the radar for most but it tried something new and it appealed to a lot of gamers. It’s a shame the single player campaign was so short and restrictive but nevertheless a great game. Yeah Far Cry 3 requires sort of an acquired taste. A lot of people do not like open world games where you are sort of free to do whatever you want. The anime adaptation of Sword Art Online does a great job emerging you into the world of SOA but it really does not do the light novel any justice at all.; still pretty entertaining.
I unfortunately cannot find the messages in my email trash that had the site’s name but at the time (around four to five months ago) they were in the final stages of preparing the website’s services. I would imagine they are up and running by now though. I recommend Blogger if you already have a gmail account since it is relatively easy to use and the customization tools are pretty cool. Yeah to become a teacher you are most likely going to need a formal college education with a specialization in some field like math, history, or coaching.
Yeah I have been enjoying the extra sleep already :D Haven’t woken up before noon since I got back home last week. I have played Mirrors Edge in the past; for a game based solely on par core elements it was very fun. DICE is actually in the early stages of making its sequel at the moment. The games I play regularly are Star Wars: The Old Republic, Battlefield 3, and Far Cry 3. I used to just use consoles but once I really got into recording music, I upgraded my pc so now it functions pretty well for gaming. The two light novels I am in love with at the moment both have currently airing anime adaptations; Sword Art Online and Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne. Both of the anime adaptations are ok at best but the light novel versions blow them out of the water (especially Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne). Both of the light novels are much more engrossing and interesting. Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne has extremely witty and well done dialogue scenes while the anime adaptation skips A LOT of important details and makes it out to be a mindless harem. Sword Art Online’s anime adaptation starts out really good but once they start the second main story arc, it lost a lot of its steam. If you want an action/adventure story with an evolving romance, go Sword Art Online. If you want a more thought provoking story about a brother and sister reuniting but with many twists (and a little too happy sister) then go Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne. It is more of a comedy/slice of life compared to Sword Art Online’s more serious nature.
Konnichiwa!
I think we both deserve a reward for replying so quickly XD One night I was going to try watching a k-drama, I believe it was Boys Over Flowers, and once I saw it was an hour long. I was like nooo way. The only TV show that I watch that can go for an hour is The Walking Dead, which I am waiting for it to start again, soooo excited!!!
A Better Tomorrow (the 2010 version) started my obsession with korean movies :D This movie then lead me to watch a lot of international films which lead to A Man From Nowhere. The ending for this film had me freaking out. I really thought it was the little girls eyes that was in the glass. My only thought was "Nooo the hot bad guy didn't save her" but he did but sadly he was killed in the end. I really thought the movie was going to end with the main character killing himself since almost every korean action film I seen, the main character dies by committing suicide, so I was expecting the worst but in the end it was a happy ending. Which made me happy.
So for one week during winter break I rented over 21 movies. Almost all were International movies and anime movies. I also was able to watch the two live action Japanese films, Gantz, which was actually really good. It makes me want to read the manga again. Oh have you seen the animated movie, Summer Wars? It was one of the 21 that I rented and it was really good. I recommend. I shall look into those films you mentioned. Because every korean film I seen so far have been amazing.
What anime are you watching? I am currently watching K, which I love and I have a favorite pairing in it, SaruMi, Its so cute!!!! Also watching Psycho-Pass, it has a good storyline. Also started watching Persona 4: The Animation, since I finished the game I need more Persona.
Winter break was actually fun. almost everyday and I am not lying everyday my cousins came over to play the game Clue. It was our first time playing the game, we got it during Black Friday, but every night someone came over to play Clue, even my parents played. which is out of character for them, they usually avoid my cousins so it was a nice change. Except I got tired of the game lol there is a limit to how many time a games can be played.
Spanish!! The horrible memories. I am so glad it is over. It was my worst grade lol. Good luck with spanish. The only classes I have to worry about is biology and biology lab (its almost 3 hours long) I get sleepy when in that class which is bad since I am going for a nursing degree and its all SCIENCE! so we see what happens to me lol
My fish is still alive. Milo lives!! This is a long comment XD Well I am going to head off to math in about an hour, sitting in the library waiting for my next class. I might go buy some dinner. I think I shall since there is no way I am going to cook dinner tonight. Have a good evening!
P.S. I am sleepy 0_o I might not last till class. Nooooooo......
