I have never written a blog about the anime I watch but I was inspired by someone elses. Under the assumption many will not read this or even comment. I have been watching anime for awhile now and I like a lot of different kinds. Shonen to Josei. If it has pretty good storyline and especially if characters are well developed or simply have a lot of heart I enjoy watching it.
One anime in particular I have been enjoying is Bakuman. It is about two guys that decide to become manga artist. One doing the drawings while the other writes. While the former is trying to impress his crush with a promise of marriage if they both obtain their dreams. I enjoy it mainly because the best part of dreaming is pursuit no matter if they come true or not. Just knowing that you went all out is comforting and rewarding on it's own. So far they are doing great job portraying the main characters in their quest for greatness.
I like anime because it gives me a good feeling. Unlike much of american shows the storylines are not always drawn out with many of the anime I watch ending after 13 to 26 episodes. Which can be annoying when you get so invested but it's nice to know I can just go to the next thing and think fondly of the other anime I have watched. I have actually started a quotes document on my comp. with inspiring words said from the anime I have watched and manga I read. Maybe one day i can compile it here for people to read. I often post them on my facebook status with many comments if people only knew my words of wisdom come from animated shows! Some of my favorite qoutes come from NANA, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Arakawa Under the Bridge, and Nodame Cantabile.
All I have for now! Thanks!
