Just before Christmas, I set Gintama to stalled at 60 episodes as I seemed to very rarely watch it. I guess it was a case of too much of a good thing.
Anyways, as the snow closed in last night, I was home alone and decided to fire up a few episodes of the show and do a little catching up. Dear god, why did I ever stop? I literally had tears running down my face with laughter, my ribs ached and the dog was looking at me funny.

Well, not really spoilers, but it might kill the suprise for some people :P
I don't think I have ever laughed so much as the hospital scene, with Gin kindly rescuing the candle out of the guys butt as everyone walked in....
Or the beetle hunt, when the shinsengumi were teasing the guys with their barbecue, and Kagura just walked over and vomited on it...

I think its because the humour is so expected that it makes me laugh quite so much :D

ah, i tried watching it as i enjoy good commedy but couldn't force myself to continue .. somehow the jokes seem really.. dull. watched only 10 episodes before i couldn't make it any more. even so, lot's of people seem to like the show.
The Monkey Hunter arc was hilarious
