This week, a good number of the surviving military officers are griped with fear and are completely out of it. On the upside, at least their not being shot at by a cannon like Eren, Mikasa and Armin. Speaking of which, Eren is now emerging from his partially obliterated Titan form puzzled at the amazing yet frightening ability he has just shown. Even so, he isn't as terrified by his own power as Armin and the Garrison surrounding them who are all practically pissing themselves. Mikasa seems to be the only one pretty much unfazed by what her beloved Eren just did. Thankfully the transformation combined with the explosion from the cannon gives the trio a small time to think up a game plan to get themselves out of the current situation. Eren proposes leaving on his own so that Mikasa and Armin won't have to be thrown in the cross hairs but Mikasa won't allow it and Armin sees no practical escape route. While the Garrison prepares loading a second shot and Mikasa and Eren continue their argument, Armin begins contemplating his past and how he has pretty much spent his entire life being protected by those two.
Right after that, Eren states that he has a back up plan, one that sounds slightly more crazy than his original idea to just make a run for it and he wants Armin to decide which idea to go for. Armin has to convince the Garrison that Eren is not only an ally but will be useful to the military as well which is kind of a hard thing to do when you happen to be able to transform into the creature they fear most. Trying to convince a coward like that general and his four eyed lackey will be just as tough as just making a break for it. Armin takes up the offer and attempts to reason with the general. His speech manages to capture the attention of his fellow soldiers but the general refuses to accept anything Armin says and prepares to signal the cannon to fire. Before he gives the signal, Commander Pixis stops him and takes over the situation. READ MORE.
