The indoors type. I like everything that is animated, as well as video games. I've also been trying to learn Japanese! ....for 11 years.
Konata (Lucky Star) and Madarame (Genshiken) are my heroes.

How I got into Anime:
I saw a youtube recommendation. "What's this!?", I exclaimed. "A Japanese Anime version of the Powerpuff Girls!?". I decided to check it out and the intro theme instantly stuck to my brain. I had never really cared for music before, but this... filled me with happiness. A catchy melody and an unbelievably cute singing voice was all it took. I didn't understand a word, yet I knew I had fallen in love with it. I downloaded some episodes, and after I watched a bit of the first episode... I was speechless. Before I knew it, I was hooked. In just a few months, I had become a full-fledged otaku, spending every single penny I got on Anime goods. There's no turn back. To this day, 12 years later, nothing has changed my love for it.

Thanks, I'll take my time then (obviously ;))

I don't really intend on doing anything but surviving, trust me. And The Army's not all that tough, I belive it depends a lot on what Batalion etc you're in. I am myself in Sanitetsbataljonen, and I find it quite relaxing at times. Of course - some weeks are exhausting as well, but they're getting rarer ^^

I'm allowed to bring my PS3, and even have a TV in the room, but my roommates and I still haven't decided if we want this or not. Not quite sure how I intend to spend my dimmepenger, but I get free trips home to Oslo 7 times a year, so no need to spend a lot of it there. I might travel a little with it(I wanna go back to Japan=D), or maybe even save it. Time will tell ;)

Yeah, finally the anime list is working! Oh glory!! :D And I always find AMD better and better nearly with every rewatch, always some great moments I've missed in previous viewings, and if you read teh manga as well... Pure greatness. Thanks for the link, I'll download it as soon as I get some decent internet on my own computer.

Japan was amazing.  It really was a culture shock for some Americans I knew, but I fit in quite well.  It is a respect based society, and really hard to explain unless you live there.  To say they take everything to the extreme, would be putting it lightly.  I don't mean that in a bad way.  Their traditional side is mixed with an exciting new capitalist culture and I loved everything there.  If you kind find the TV drama "Denshu Otaku(spelling?)" or in english "Train Man", it kind of shows you how melodramatic japanese culture can be.  Great show!  Of course, their is a dark side to every society, and Japan has Yakuza everywhere.  I would express caution to anyone who does not offer a humble and respectful attitude while there.

Well,I probably wouldn't buy episodes, since I'm used to downloading them for free, hehe, but I would definitely buy some keychains, posters, calendars and such ^^

Well,Code geass isn't really a mecha anime in my opinion...I mean, they have the robots, figtings and stuff, but that's not what matters the most...The main character is the thing that got me to watch...he's super cool, evil and good at the same time, and the series are basically about him and his relations to other people around him...people say that Code geass is similar to Death note, but I don't know since I didn't watch DN ^^

My sis's boyfriend is gonna get a credit card soon,so I'll tell him to buy me some anime related stuff,then...since he's also getting it for that purpose =D

yup,40 dollars isn't much,I would be able to afford it too^^

That's a guy on my avatar...but I'm actually a girl, hehe :DHe's from one of the best anime there is,Code geass...you should really watch it sometimes :)

I watch all genres,it depends on the characters and on the story, but I guess I prefer action and mecha XD
