As someone who lost too many cats (strays taken in) to cars, I kinda envy the girl in this anime... It's short, it's good (as much as you'd expect from 4 episodes about cat and owner) and if you don't have any idea what to watch and you stumbled upon this one you might as well watch it.
See full reviewThis review is based on the entire series of this anime and i have to say that usually I am dissapointed with anime or simply bored if it didn't show anything entertaining. In this case I simply pissed off which happens... never? (ok, last time it happened when i watched Toradora, which was quite some time ago), anyway i am going to list the entirety why this anime is NOT worth watching and you're better of watching some "magic high school with obligatory harem anime" which is saying something...

I have seriously no idea why anyone would like this series. The pacing is terrible (24 episodes that with cutting out entire filler could have made a above average 1 season), characters are bland and there's just too many of them, lastly - the story, "character development" and ending itself is just plain dumb... "Story" and Characters SPOILER ALERT - do not read next paragraph if do not enjoy spoilers. Anyway, the "story" you can read in summary above but how does it look in reality? For first half a season (or something close to it) you watch as the main protagonist... See full review
Short Version: While from technical side (Visual/Sounds) Argevollen is above average the story first engaging slowly but surely gets boring. Personally at first i would have given this anime 4 stars after first few episodes, but now that i finally finished it (last 2 episodes were sitting and waiting for me to watch them since release) I came to conclusion that it is average at best when it comes to story/characters. Generally anime feels at the end like prequel to the actual series which makes you feel like you wasted your time with this one. I'd recommend it for Mecha Lovers/Fanatics (those who watch... Ok lets start from the some less painfull things.
Animation:
Very good - but it won't beat cell shading you can see in Clannad.
Sound:
Fantastic - not much to say here.
Characters:
Great. With exceptions...
Story... :
Personally i like a story which is both amusing and can be easily found in real life.
This shows story is very amusing to a point where you realize Ryuuji ends will end up with Aisaka. If you'd cut out that part this show would be frikin great but like one person before:
"why is it so hard for those dumbass storywriters to actually get the right people together at the... See full review
