My goodness this show is painful to watch.  I began watching Zero no Tsukaima because it was one of the recomended links after I enjoyed Toradora! but I really don't understand why.  The premise is promising enough, and it looks okay too but the characters are so shallow that the show is completely boring. Each of the characters is a perfect anime stereotype, without even the usual subtle variations to keep them engaging.  The main character is the blushing boy whom all the ladies lust after.  The heroine is noisy and violent.  The other shallow charachters in the harem include...
