Okay, so I just read the synopsis of Princess Jellyfish, and it actually made me smile and now I want to watch it for some reason. I feel like in some weird way I'll be able to relate, plus.. I don't know, I just want to watch it. I guess I'm in one of those moods...
Third time's the charm– maybe that means you'll like One Piece even more (if that's possible XD). Ahhhh, the Alabasta Arc. Ace and Crocodile, doesn't get any better than that (●´∀｀●)
Ugh, Naruto T.T I don't think they understand that I don't like crying, so when it happens consecutively like that in every other episode, of course I'm going to get upset. I think I have only seen one episode of Gintama, I don't even remember what happened. But I have heard that it's one of the best anime out there (especially in the comedy genre). I totally understand– I always kind of feel sad when an anime or manga comes to an end (especially if it was a really good anime or manga… which explains why I re-read so much stuff). As long as it's interesting, I can watch any genre, but I the only ones I refuse to watch are Shounen Ai/Yaoi and Shoujo Ai/Yuri… I have some pretty scaring experiences T.T I've also developed an intense dislike for Mahou Shoujo >,< As for Romance, I don't know why I torture myself watching it– I always get ticked off with the characters and their stupid emotions that they can't seem to control.. it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I still subject myself to it. I don't really care about Ecchi; the only thing is that it gets annoying because there's some anime that would be pretty good if there wasn't any Ecchi in it, so it's hard for me to decide which ones I should watch with my little brothers… 'cause I certainly don't want to be the one who introduces them to that *ahem* field, though we have had a lot of close calls with anime and manga that I've watched and read with them before… Hahaha, yeah, I've come up with a lot of theories regarding anime– one that I've been pretty accurate on is that the first and last episode are usually bad, at least to me. Thank God for exceptions though.
Hmm, history of Africa seems like it might be interesting (I've got to be honest, I don't know a whole lot about Africa… didn't even realize how big it is until a couple of months ago). Majoring in history/a language/or studying to become a translator all sound pretty cool. I'm studying to become an interpreter for Japanese, English, and French. Yeah, my classes start on the 21st. Let's see… I've got Japanese, French Lit, Chinese Politics, Bio, and International Finance.
Holyshishkebab $1000?! Yeah, I figured it be expensive, but I was not expecting that. And the price is still going up… Do they all usually cost around that much?
Berserk has an unexpected ending? I do appreciate that– it's kind of annoying when it's all so predictable. And I'm sure Griffith will be very entertaining. HA! Your description of Ogata is hilarious. Ahh!! There's so much I want to watch now >,<
Medaka Box is actually pretty good. The manga is much much better than the anime. I'm only on chapter 58, but I like that the characters aren't like the irritating kind that I'm so used to. The side characters are cool and entertaining– my favorite one is a side character, and Sayaka's favorite is one of the antagonists, so there's a nice range of personalities. Speaking of, I should get back to reading that– I keep getting sidetracked.
I really really don't like Akainu. Thankfully, I didn't punch my computer when we watched the Marineford Arc again. One of my little brothers kept talking about how infuriating Akainu was though =D Aokiji is so much better– I even liked him back when he first met up with Robin after she joined Luffy and them (probably because he's so relaxed and always sleeping).
I'm telling you, I seriously hate Naruto and One Piece sometimes. Naruto keeps killing off the characters I like, and then One Piece with you know who... I think I was broken for a few weeks after that happened. Oh my gosh, Naruto's parents were so cool– I was actually upset with the show for even introducing them to me when they're already dead. I was like, "NOOOOOOO!!! Why did I have to get to know them. Now it hurts all the more that they're gone >,<" That's why I want to see the Naruto Shippuuden movie: Road to Ninja. I think in that, it's how Naruto's life would be or something if his parents hadn't died. Hahaha, now that I think about it, I don't know if I've ever watched an anime that's just comedy.. I feel like I need some action or something to go with it.
So are you finishing up with the course for your 2-year college now? What classes are you planning on taking for the Spring semester? Even if you can't have your own place yet, just visualizing all the stuff you want to do with it and where you'll put everything can be pretty exciting. It's good to have a mother that's awesome with decorating too (=D) How much is the Griffith figure? Speaking of Berserk, I haven't finished watching it– my cousin told me that I had to watch it. I think I'm only on like episode 5. I would say that I couldn't believe that you went through your stuff so quickly, but I can. Is Princess Jellyfish really good?
Hahaha, when you started describing Seiji Ogata as "Suits + Smoking + Confident +Ambitious," I couldn't help but think of Sanji, and I was like "Yeah, maybe that's another reason (besides the hot cosplayers) that she likes Sanji." But yeah, I want to strat it soon, so I'm going to finish reading what there is of Medaka Box, and then I'll watch it while I juggle Monster and Mushishi. Heh, did you restart the manga series after you commented on my page?
AH! They have pictures of Aokiji? I haven't seen him yet, and I don't remember if they show him in the manga yet. Garp is in the movie?! I think I'm starting to look forward to this (XD) Garp!! He looks so cool! Yup, I think this is going to be the first One Piece movie that I watch. Hetalia is so awesome >,< I laugh all the time. Japan, Germany, Italy, America (I love them all). I watched the first episode in Japanese and English (when they tried to use all of those accents in the English dub, it was just way too funny).
I read the synopsis of Cuticle Detective, and I can see how the first episode could have been crazy. I might just watch the first one for kicks.
i pretty much preview everything that comes out every season, and drop 1 out of 5 on average
this season im only really looking forward to [email protected]
oh, and i have Nyaruko Figma, Ultimate Madoka Figma, and Asuna Figma all reserved :DDD
Okay, so I just read the last two chapters of Naruto last night and so I saw who you were talking about when you a certain mainish character. I thought you were talking about someone else who dies right before that... You should've seen my face when I saw who died last night– I just kept thinking, "Why couldn't it have been Sasuke? Why couldn't it have been Sasuke? Why couldn't it have been Sasuke?" It's safe to say there were a few tears.. yet another one of my favorite characters dies TT.TT
Hahaha, are you going to start making a list of all the stuff you're going to buy for when you move into your own place then? Woah, that's more than I expected. You weren't kidding when you said you got a lot for Christmas. POCKY!!! I think I still have some left too =D Looking at your haul was so cool. All the different ones, from Lelouch to Leorio to Ace <3 and Marco to Hisoka <3 to all of you DVD box sets and more. Totally and completely AWESOME!
Hikaru no Go has officially been added to my want to watch list. I appreciate that on top of it being a shounen, it is also tagged as psychological. I have a feeling that I'm going to thoroughly enjoy this. Not having to fully understand Go is a plus too =D Yeah, it was actually kind of hard to get through Fishman Island a second time with my brothers. The whole time I was thinking about how much I wanted them to get to Punk Hazard. Hahaha, I started Eyeshield 21 last month or so– it had me laughing so much in the first few episodes. Hiruma was the reason I kept watching after the first episode.
When I first started watching Kuroko, I did a marathon of it (at the time they only had 23 episodes out) and I immediately picked up the manga where it left off. So technically, I haven't finished the anime either. I guess I'll watch the last two episodes when I'm bored or something. But yeah, I don't like feeling like Kuroko's team will always win, and unfortunately, that's how I usually feel. In all honesty, I'm not a fan of his team at all, and I'd prefer to see the Generation of Miracles back when they were all on the same team. And it does feel rushed at times, and then in the manga, there are certain parts that I feel are drawn out way too long. But all in all, when it's not annoying the crap out of me (at those times Kise is usually involved), it's pretty good– especially when Aomine is there.
According to Sayaka, I'll be watching the second seasons of Kuroko and Uta no Prince-sama with her so that we can suffer through it together. The last 20 chapters or so of Kuroko have irked me to no end, so I can only imagine how it will be watching the anime, and Uta no Prince-sama… well, that's just another matter altogether T.T I still have to finish Hetallia (but I do really like that show). Ah, let's see, what am I excited for? Actually, I do want to see the new Naruto that came out in Japan back in July, Road to Ninja. It sounds like it might be interesting. There's also the second season of Chihayafuru. I was looking at Amnesia but I've never played any of the games, so I don't know if I should bother trying it out. Here's to hoping the new One Piece movie will be good!
Sounds like you've had quite the productive Christmas (XD) Dont' you just love the feeling of adding to your collection? Oh gosh, I don't even want to imagine how shipping is around now. I'm glad I ordered all of my stuff super early. So did anymore show up today?
Hmmm, I haven't tried Gantz or Hikaru no Go– for whatever reason, I do have an episode of HnG on my computer but I've yet to watch it (it's been there for more than a year I think). Sounds like I might have more to add to my want to watch list ^,^
Hahaha, I have so many messenger bags, and it's pretty awesome because depending on how I feel that day, I'll just grab whichever one matches how I am. My other motive for getting new ones was because my One Piece one broke... that was not a good day. Hahaha, speaking of losing buttons, when I went to go put them on my messenger bag, for whatever reason, I found all of them except Kise. Honestly though, I wasn't too upset because I utterly despise him, but it turned out he wouldn't die so easily because I found him when I was looking through my bag at church one day. So now they're all safely on: Aomine, Akashi, Kuroko, Midorima, Murasakibara, Kise, and Kagami. AHHHH!!! They're so cute!!! I've go to be honest, my favorite will always be Aomine >,< So wait, do you have to color them or will it be done for you?
Manga, figurines, and dvd box sets?! It souds like I'm going to have to check out rightstuf– I want awesome sales too >,< Oh yeah, I saw some the new One Piece game. I didn't get it either, but it does look pretty sweet.
Hahahaha, yeah when they first showed Detective Lunge, I thought he was really weird, and I was like, "Well, I could either hate him or love him," and then I looked at most of the other characters, and I decided that he was definitely one of the most entertaining– behind Johan, of course.
Yeah, if by some strange twist of fate you do have twin blonde boys named Johan and Ladd (though naming his brother Claire would be so awesome XD), telling them the origin of their names might not be the best option... I could only imagine what they would do, heh.
And they have a movie coming out for Punk Hazard? I might actually watch that– I haven't seen any One Piece movies yet. I don't know why I won't watch them– I haven't even watched Stronghold, and that's supposed to be like the best one or something. Oh. My. Gosh. I love amusement parks! Yup, I will definitely be going there when I go to Japan.
Hahaha, how'd you come to the realization that Sanji was your favorite Strawhat? I'm just glad I don't dislike him anymore... I think that the island he spent those two years on helped me to sympathize with him greatly. Uhuh, hot Sanji cosplayers. Yeah, that'll do it. Hmmm, my favorite Strawhat is either Luffy or Zoro, though my favorite female Strawhat (not that there's a lot to choose from) is definitely Robin. Ahhh! I'm looking forward to actually watching the new arc. I got my brothers all the way to the Fishman Island Arc, so we just have to finish that (if I remember correctly, we should be about halfway through).
