I can't even apologize >,< I just kept getting sidetracked... I'll go stand in a corner and think about what I've done now..
Woooooooooow, Amnesia sounds pretty crazy. Maybe I'll give it a look ^,^ There's a game for that isn't there? Hmm, the storyline sounds pretty promising– I don't know what I would do if I woke up not remembering anything and then started remembering being with a bunch of guys XD Not exactly how I want to spend my day... Have you watched any more of it.
Hahaha, yeah, if they didn't make any of the kumo likeable, then I would not have been upset to see them go, but I got attached to a few of them go ( ≧Д≦) YEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!! You should watch the old one (and not just because it's the one that I watched), but it's farther than the series airing now. So you can put off that "where's the next episode?......NOOOOO. XD;;" moment a while longer.
Heh, yeah, most of the arcs in One Piece are pretty awesome, but there's was just something about seeing all of the rookies that made me so excited. Truly an epic moment in the world of anime.
It's nice to know that Kurozuka is only 12 episodes.. I don't think I could handle a 50+ anime right now... well, I guess it depends on what genre it is. I think I'm in the mood for sports again– preferably baseball.
OHMYGOSH LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!! He looks so awesome! Yesh, I can see why that one might be hard to find. Heh, yes, his fluffy coat and hat do look very welcoming (=D)
Hahaha, it's okay, I know how school can get. Everything's good– just kind of busy. Haven't been able to watch and read nearly as much anime and manga as I'd have liked for the past few weeks. What about you?
Ahhhh, yeah, I've seen a few anime that have gone off on their own tangent. I wish they wouldn't because they'd be so much better off following the manga. And then of course when I'm reading manga, sometimes I don't like the ending they come up with either T.T I don't even know if there's anything really worth watching that's airing at the moment...
What?! 43 figurines on order?! I guess I really shouldn't be surprised anymore (XD) Oh my gosh yes, Illumi is pretty freaking awesome, but I have to say, I think Hisoka really took the top for me. There's something just so creepily awesome about him, and he makes it work so well. Yes! Uvo was actually my favorite Kumo. I like Nobunaga too, but Uvo was pretty cool. And yes again, the Zoldyck family oh gosh yup. Killua's father is too amazing for words, and his grandfather's pretty bad to the bone himself. And the mom... yeah, she's just special. So have you fully caught up yet?
Hahaha, I still read manga in class sometimes. Always interesting reactions from whoever's sitting beside me. But thankfully, there haven't been too many scenes where it'd be like your Berserk experience XD. I'm still only on episode 5 of that >,<
YESSSS!!!! Law made me so very happy– especially since him, Luffy, and Kid are my favorite rookie pirate captains. Seeing him after the time skip is definitely the icing on the cake. Ahhh!!! Punk Hazard is turning out to be one of my favorite arcs (after the Sabaody Archipelago arc). Are you going to order his figurine?
Having a place here and in Japan sounds awesome. Well, at college, at least you can try out a bunch of different things to see what classes and stuff you like (or don't like). So how are you classes going so far?
I'm actually thinking about watching Kurozuka after seeing you mention it in your blog. But yeah, there are some seriously awesome fighting scenes out there. Ｏ( ｀_´)乂(｀_´ )Ｏ
Hahaha, you weren't kidding, that is quite the wall of text =D
So I just finished reading all they have so far of Kuragehime (I want more >,<). I totally agree– more people should watch it and Shuu and Hanamori were awesome. I'm hoping they come out with another season for the anime. Hanamori was the greatest ever. I could not stop laughing pretty much whenever he opened his mouth. The manga is pretty good, but there's just something about watching it that makes it priceless. I don't even know if I want to wait until they publish it in the US to buy them. This might be the next series I add to my collection– whether it's in Japanese or English.
Sounds like you scored big. Heh, you got Izaya and Barnaby even though you don't like them? Well, I can't blame you. That's how I know the figures must have looked incredible. Hahaha, I'm sure you always find room for the cases since it means you get to get more amazing figures. If you had to guess, how many figures would you say you have now?
Ah, imagine how bad it would have been if there was spontaneous kissing or something while you watching it with your mom. Hahaha, I'm glad my plight amuses you =P Thank goodness you've never had a Yaoi surprise.. they're not fun– I know to be more careful when I'm picking what to watch or read now. Ahhhhhhh, yeah, I don't think I've ever had any serious fullblown sex scene surprises (it's definitely gotten sketchy sometimes but I think I kind of saw them coming). Ah, wait, there was that gay sex scene (another yaoi surpass T.T) when I thought I was reading a gender-bender and found out that the scantalation group mixed up two manga that had the same name… unfortunately the one I was reading was not the gender-bender one even though it had the synopsis for it, so of course I was not expecting a male teacher to be giving a male student ah "extra lessons" after class while the main character listened to it and then proceeded to… relieve his manly urges under the table. HAHAHAHA, oh my gosh! You read it in class?! Did anyone ask you why you were making a face while you were reading Berserk? Yeah, I wish libraries would check their books more thoroughly before just handing them out to unsuspecting children. Hmm, I think I know some people like that too who think that just because it's a cartoon, it's okay to show to children.
*SPOILER ALERT: ONE PIECE (FOR THOSE WATCHING OR HAVEN'T SEEN IT, AVERT YOUR EYES)* Oh, I totally forgot that Frankie had the blueprints to Pluton before he destroyed it. Oh yeah, I remember when after Luffy beat Eneru up– they showed Eneru riding on a ship or something heading to Fairy Vearth. Between those two points and Shirahoshi, I'm wondering how they're going to bring the weapons back into the story– I'm guessing it's going to have something to do with what Robin finds about what happened during the Void Century where no history was recorded. OH OH OH!! Speaking of Pluton being Shirahoshi and everything, do you remember when Luffy was trying to destroy the Noah arc to save Fishman Island? The huge sea kings came and were saying "Stop" or whatever and Luffy actually understood them (just like Gol D Roger did)– I was so psyched about the fact that Luffy could understand them. But yeah, Luffy has got some seriously powerful allies. Eneru was crazy strong– if Luffy wasn't made of rubber, he honestly would not have stood a chance. I'd like to see them fight again now. Yeah, I have a feeling whatever Oda is planning is going to be awesome– he's set so much stuff in place already that he has to be preparing for something freaking amazing to happen.
Hahaha, your mom is hilarious! Yeah, my mom has made comments about abs too– she likes them ^,^. Hey, if a guy wants to show me how built he is, who am I to argue? But yeah, she's quick to point out her thoughts on a character too. Right now Zoro is her favorite, and she's not a huge fan of Luffy because she says he looks like a scarecrow. Hahaha, I totally agree with your mom– why'd they have to kill off the beautiful one? Oh my gosh, "gotten someone pregnant?" I'm seriously liking your mom more and more. Heh, Zoro does have his shirt off like all the time. And yeah, Shanks is probably the most attractive one-armed man I've ever seen. Bionicbarbie? Cute =D She's seen a decent amount. Heh, you're right, they are all dark-haired men.
I'm going to keep making my mom watch it, 'cause I didn't start really like it until like 20+ episodes in (I kept watching past the first episode because of Luffy). This summer, I should be able to get a lot farther with her. Hahaha, love how your mom started to like the same guy she said once said was ugly. Yeah, my mom might like Fullmetal Alchemist– there were quite a few twists, and she likes stuff that makes her think. That's so cool that your mom would watch Hikaru no Go by herself XD
I'd love to take Korean history but they don't offer it at my college. There's Chinese history that would be interesting to take for the same reasons that you said that Korea is interesting. Yeah, I've always been really into Japan since I was a child (can't say that I ever had Asian barbies or barbie dolls, though I wish now that that was the case =D). I used to want to live in England since it's constantly foggy and rainy and that's perfectly okay with me, but now I wouldn't mind living in Japan. Since you can't see yourself living in Asia, would you want to live in Europe?
Yes! I always notice things I didn't before when I rewatch an anime or reread a manga. Plus, I'm never disappointed because I already know that it's a good anime/manga. I want to rewatch Samurai Champloo– I actually might try to get my mom to watch it with me because when I had my anime playlist on shuffle today, she pointed out a couple of songs from the OST that she liked, plus she likes historical era stuff.
So of course, right after I left you a comment the other day, I started Kuragehime. Oh. My. Gosh! It was so good– I couldn't stop laughing. I felt kind of bad because it was way past midnight, and I was being so loud in my room just laughing and laughing XD I was so sad when it ended– I wanted to watch more of it. So now I'm going to read the manga because that was literally one of the best anime I've seen in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Hahaha, that's not a bad reason to start an anime ;P I keep wanting to start it again, but I don't quite have the urge to just yet. But I have a feeling if I watch another really good show, then I might be in the mood for Gintama. So which figure did you order?
Pfft! So you did cave– I'm sure it was worth it (=D) heh, at least I hope so, especially since you're planning on buying figure cases now.
Hahahaha, yes, sometimes it is necessary to delude ourselves into thinking it's a "father and son" relationship. That's how I got tricked into reading Loveless... I can't believe they had that in my library all those years ago (in the kid section no less). I thought he sincerly cared for him as his child or something.. and then... and then... T.T I don't even think I was 15 yet. I wasn't prepared for that. I was still too new to the vast world of manga.... scars.... But yeah, I find the friendship between guys soooo much better. That's why I usually prefer shows or manga that don't have any romance (gay or not). Ugh, I'm shuddering just thinking about some of the fan art I've seen that have made completely awesome friends into yaoi art TT.TT I wasn't prepared for that either.
Ohmygoshyes! I'm disliking Blackbeard more and more– I already thought he was a spineless coward when he took Whitebeard's power like that, but now he thinks he so big and bad just because he has all these fruit now, when he himself is nothing but a loser. Tch! Oh! But did you see the deal Luffy makes? I think I know which emperor they were talking about and it makes me super happy ^,^ But yeah, I haven't seen Marco at all since the 2-yr gap. I'm pretty sure he's the captain of the Whitebeard pirates, but I haven't heard anything about them since the war ｡･ﾟﾟ･(>д<)･ﾟﾟ･｡still too many raw emotions. You don't know how much I'm looking forward to Luffy beating the crap out of Blackbeard– it's only a matter of time. I find Blackbeard so worthless that I don't even want to grace him with my hatred. I dislike him in a totally different way than Akainu. I find Akainu horribly manipulative and self-righteous about his false justice, but capable, whereas Blackbeard stupidly thinks he's so strong, when it's really the fruit he's stealing from others that has given him more power. I feel like Akainu has rightfully earned my anger, but I still detest him nonetheless. I've got to be honest, I found Kizaru very entertaining when they first introduced him. I did laugh at his verbal quirk, but I got pretty used to it, and then I was like, "Dang, he's actually a pretty dangerous person." But I think I like him for the most part.
Yeah, I know what Shirahoshi is. I wasn't expecting her to be so powerful, and then when Robin figured it out, I was like, "Yeah, that makes sense, I guess." I'm wondering if they're ever going to bring her back up and tie it all together in the future.
HAHAHAHA!!! Your mom's reaction is hilarious (glad I wasn't in that situation, though I've come pretty close at times). I've got to be honest, I think I would prefer my mom seeing something like that as opposed to her seeing some of the extreme fanservice they give in anime. Ahhhh, that's so awesome. Does she watch a lot of anime with you? The only thing I've gotten my mom to watch with me so far is One Piece, and we're still on Usopp's island T.T
I've been taking French since 6th grade, so I'm pretty used to it now. I'm hoping my classes turn out to be awesome like you said though– the only reason I'm taking half of them is for distribution and requirements (even though the other half are requirements too, but I'm actually interested in those). So have you started learning Korean or Japanese yet?
Ahhhh, that makes sense. Capitalism at its finest. Yeah, with only 100 figures out there, I can see how the price could skyrocket. "50-100$ range for a 1/8 scale" sounds much more feasible, but that still adds up when you start collecting a lot of them. But it sounds like if you know where to look, you can get some decent prices. Shipping >,< I do not like paying for shipping. ^,^ The Samurai Crocodile was pretty awesome though.
Yeah, I've looked at other peoples' pages, and they've watched 300+ anime with totals of 5000+ episodes. And then I look at mine with only 96 watched anime, and I'm not sure where my 5000+ episodes came from. I do watch a lot of long series, so yeah, I guess that's probably it. I don't like when good things come to an end (=D) Haha, the site might not be able to handle it if it had to calculate all the episodes if we included how many times we rewatched a series (XD)
Okay, so I just read the synopsis of Princess Jellyfish, and it actually made me smile and now I want to watch it for some reason. I feel like in some weird way I'll be able to relate, plus.. I don't know, I just want to watch it. I guess I'm in one of those moods...
Third time's the charm– maybe that means you'll like One Piece even more (if that's possible XD). Ahhhh, the Alabasta Arc. Ace and Crocodile, doesn't get any better than that (●´∀｀●)
Ugh, Naruto T.T I don't think they understand that I don't like crying, so when it happens consecutively like that in every other episode, of course I'm going to get upset. I think I have only seen one episode of Gintama, I don't even remember what happened. But I have heard that it's one of the best anime out there (especially in the comedy genre). I totally understand– I always kind of feel sad when an anime or manga comes to an end (especially if it was a really good anime or manga… which explains why I re-read so much stuff). As long as it's interesting, I can watch any genre, but I the only ones I refuse to watch are Shounen Ai/Yaoi and Shoujo Ai/Yuri… I have some pretty scaring experiences T.T I've also developed an intense dislike for Mahou Shoujo >,< As for Romance, I don't know why I torture myself watching it– I always get ticked off with the characters and their stupid emotions that they can't seem to control.. it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but I still subject myself to it. I don't really care about Ecchi; the only thing is that it gets annoying because there's some anime that would be pretty good if there wasn't any Ecchi in it, so it's hard for me to decide which ones I should watch with my little brothers… 'cause I certainly don't want to be the one who introduces them to that *ahem* field, though we have had a lot of close calls with anime and manga that I've watched and read with them before… Hahaha, yeah, I've come up with a lot of theories regarding anime– one that I've been pretty accurate on is that the first and last episode are usually bad, at least to me. Thank God for exceptions though.
Hmm, history of Africa seems like it might be interesting (I've got to be honest, I don't know a whole lot about Africa… didn't even realize how big it is until a couple of months ago). Majoring in history/a language/or studying to become a translator all sound pretty cool. I'm studying to become an interpreter for Japanese, English, and French. Yeah, my classes start on the 21st. Let's see… I've got Japanese, French Lit, Chinese Politics, Bio, and International Finance.
Holyshishkebab $1000?! Yeah, I figured it be expensive, but I was not expecting that. And the price is still going up… Do they all usually cost around that much?
Berserk has an unexpected ending? I do appreciate that– it's kind of annoying when it's all so predictable. And I'm sure Griffith will be very entertaining. HA! Your description of Ogata is hilarious. Ahh!! There's so much I want to watch now >,<
Medaka Box is actually pretty good. The manga is much much better than the anime. I'm only on chapter 58, but I like that the characters aren't like the irritating kind that I'm so used to. The side characters are cool and entertaining– my favorite one is a side character, and Sayaka's favorite is one of the antagonists, so there's a nice range of personalities. Speaking of, I should get back to reading that– I keep getting sidetracked.
I really really don't like Akainu. Thankfully, I didn't punch my computer when we watched the Marineford Arc again. One of my little brothers kept talking about how infuriating Akainu was though =D Aokiji is so much better– I even liked him back when he first met up with Robin after she joined Luffy and them (probably because he's so relaxed and always sleeping).
