I know..I know... it says "final" in the tittle. A bit sad, yes?
Well, wrtitng 10+ paragraph posts twice a year gets a bit...I don't really know how to describle it. It was fun at first, but it is extreamly difficult to remember a lot of stuff that happened months and months ago besides extreamly big events. Plus, I'm sure it is hard for some people to read the entire thing. xD So yes, this will be my last post in the "Current Thoughs" series. Do not fear, I will never stop blogging. Instead, I'm migrating my blog to Livejournal and making posts more frequently. (Once or twice a month is what I'm trying to shoot for, the link to my LJ is in my profile.)
I feel kind of sad to do this without a bit of CT spirit, so here's a little mini-sized version.
This past fall season I decided to pick up three series: Soremachi (it's SHAFT, so yeah), Otome Youkai Zakuro (it seemed to be getting good first episode reviews), and Star Driver (Bones <3). I enjoyed Soremachi, but Zakuro turned didn't click. To much girly shoujo-ness for my taste. Star Driver is still going, but I can safely say it went from having a decent first few episodes to being repetitive and boring. Bleh...Why am I still watching it?
Winter 2011 came, and with it I started Madoka (once again, SHAFT), Fractale (I'm starting to turn into a Noitamina fan), Hourou Musuko (Noitamina), and Gosick (Bones, again. xD) After about six episodes, I decided to stall Gosick becuase it started to get boring like Star Driver. (Maybe I shouldn't blindly pick up Bones series anymore...?) Madoka is my favorite so far, followed closely by Fractale. <3333
This week ends my crazy scrambling to catch up with a lot of 2010 series I passed on. Since A-P is holding 2010 awards, I decided to go ahead and watch some more 2010 anime before voting. So far I've gone through Highschool of the Dead, Ookami-san, Occult Academy, Shiki, Kuragehime, Oreimo, Ika Musume, and Tatami Galaxy. Right now I'm working on The World God Only Knows, which I plan to finish Friday morning making it my final series before casting my votes.
Random side notes: I've recently started posting on the forums. Look for me with my Nessa icon. xD Also, I've statrted following Chrono Crusade on SyFy, though I keep forgeting about it. >.<
Lastly, we all know about the huge earthquake that happened in Japan, right? Well, I'm extreamly dissapointed because my parents won't let me donate money over the internet or through texting. HOWEVER, that hasn't stopped me from raising awareness to people who can donate. You see, one night I decided to draw a bunch of pictures that say "Pray for Japan" on them and hand them out to my friends at school the next day. Once they recived them, they thought it would be a good idea to spead the pictures around the school to raise awareness. Everyone slipped the pictures into the outside of their binders and began drawing pictures themselves. We've given the drawings to teachers who post them on the classroom windows for a lot of people to see and other students who request one to put them in their binders. Together, we've drawn over thrity pictures so far, and we only started doing this about two days ago. Even if you can't donate money, you can always do something to help.
Well, this is the end, folks. Thanks for reading Current Thoughts. Even though these were getting tedious to write, I feel like I'll miss doing them, even if only just a little. I'll continue my crazying blogging in my Livejournal, Pieces of Starlight.
