it's like the most amazing life-changing asdfghjkl; anime ever! it's very emotional, basically it'll make you bawl your eyes out and your heart hurt like hell. it's not just one of those "fluffy romances"... well actually yeah it basically starts out as an above-average harem, but after you finish the first season (which to me was boring, cos i had really high expectations for it) it becomes sooo much better and makes so much more sense. clannad presents to us a lot of morals and social problems and you can relate to the characters in that sense. if you feel like giving up on the first season keep going, cos afterstory is DEFINITELY worth it.
